Hackers target latest Windows fix

A worm has been spotted in the wild that tries to use vulnerabilities to hijack home computers.
Any computer compromised by the worm will become part of a large botnet set up to send out junk mail.
At the same time Microsoft is re-issuing a recent security patch which has made the Internet Explorer browser crash on some computers.

This morning I made an extra effort to ensure that computer security was maintained without knowing the above persistent problem. There was an Email notification from PC Tools about an upgrade for its Spyware Doctor software to version four. I performed the necessary upgrade and ensured that PC Tools Anti Virus software was up to date with definitions and had been run recently. I also ran Spyware Doctor V4 after installation thus insuring that there was as much protection as possible. I update PC Tools Anti Virus definitions every 30 minutes to make certain to have these definitions on hand if needed so that security is as tight as possible.
I get abuse for doing so by those using the surveillance technology. Lt Harry Bird, et al abuse everything that I do no matter what it is. The point is to create uncertainty and intimidate me to the extent of doing nothing. If they can disrupt my normal activity and cause me to postpone what I need to do, they then blame me for not getting things done. I am attacked no matter what I do. This is intended to create instability in a person and hopefully undermine that person to such an extent as to mentally unbalance that person. It does not work with me, but I can see where it would work with many. The intention is to "shut him down" in order to "break him down" as is often stated by Lt Harry Bird.
I picked up this undercutting activity recognising its character at the very beginning of its use noting that it represented attacks for the sake of attacking and did not mean anything. It was just harassment and torture (cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment) given that it covered every single human activity that is done. I have always ignored what is being said but document it for the record against the background of what I am doing at the time. I did so once again this morning as I carried out the computer security activity. Later on today, I saw this BBC News article above and noted how important it was to stay on top of computer security.
When I read the above article completely, I noted that the US Department of Homeland Security had thought that the vulnerabilities which existed with regard to Microsoft's operating software were serious enough to issue a warning to computer users to download the patches issued on 8th August 2006 by Microsoft. Evidently, the most serious problem is a worm that will permit a "robot" to take over individual computers as part of a massive network to send spam Emails. Apparently, individual security risk goes beyond this individual computer vulnerability into the world at large with an overall security risk present from this kind of worm. I would guess that it might involve a potential denial of service where critically important computers in government or business can be subjected to a massive influx of Emails.
This adds another dimension to the overall security risk which those using the surveillance technology are adding by attacking me for no reason at all except to be as destructive as possible. Lt Harry Bird, et al try to keep me from doing what is necessary to maintain reasonable computer security. I had an extensive problem in the past when I wanted to upgrade to Internet Explorer 6.0 (IE6) in order to get 128 bit encryption that was required to access my financial accounts online. Lt Harry Bird and others blocked all my download attempts to upgrade to IE6 amid a great deal of yelling and shouting about what was being done including "You don't want him to have 128 bit encryption do you?"
This went on for weeks as I tried repeatedly to download IE6. Finally, Paul Winston (Special Branch) stopped this abuse after allowing it to go on for weeks, and I was able to download and install IE6. This was done for no other reason then to deny me the usage of the computer as I needed to access financial accounts It was a blatant and obvious attempt to use the surveillance software against the computer technology. It was in itself a denial of service. This kind of interference in my usage of computer technology is continuous and constant from Lt Harry Bird and those with him. Interference to prevent me from obtaining and using the security software also occurs. I have a great difficulty in using this software to maintain computer security.
What I have learned today is that this kind of activity is contributing to an overall security problem which might occur if I do not properly protect the computer technology. This is consistent with all the activity carried out by those using the surveillance technology. They just do not care about the overall consequences of their destructive acts and are only concerned with their own corrupt self interest. This is just one more example of this turning up as it did today.
