HOLISTIC AND NATURAL HEALTH

1. The trial of the British National Party (BNP) leader and an activist got underway today in the UK. These two are being tried for "using abusive, threatening, or insulting words towards people of Asian ethnicity." These comments were filmed in an undercover operation which was broadcast on the BBC in July 2004. The prosecuting barrister was reported as saying: "No society can permit disapproval of another race to be expressed in such strong terms that hatred be stirred up against people on the basis of race or ethnicity."http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_yorkshire/4620762.stm2. At the same time there is another similar trial in progress which started last week in the UK against Abu Hamza al-Masri for similar crimes including: "Nine charges brought under the Offences Against the Person Act, alleging he solicited others at public meetings to murder Jews and other non-Muslims; " and "Four charges, brought under the Public Order Act, claim he used "threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with the intention of stirring up racial hatred." "http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4602466.stm3. At present David Irving, a British pseudo scholar, resides in an Austria jail pending his February trial under a 1948 law which he violated in 1989. He had re-entered Austria at the end of last year, was arrested and has not been permitted bail. He is well noted for being a Holocaust denier who lost his libel suit which he brought against Deborah Lipstadt and Penguin UK that was tried in London's High Court in early 2000. This trial is now documented in Professor's Lipstadt's book "History on Trial: My Day in Court with David Irving" published by an imprint of HarperCollinsPublishers, 2005. Judge Gray's decision determined that David Irving was an antisemite and racist as one who "deliberately skewed the [historical] evidence to bring it in line with his political beliefs." (pps 274 & 275)4. The president of Iran who has recently stated that he wants Israel wiped off the face of the planet has announced a conference on Holocaust denial which has a foundation based upon antisemitism, extremism and racism. Speculation concerns the possibility of David Irving attending this conference. These events represent extremism from the white supremacist (BNP) on one side attacking Muslims while Muslim extremists on the other attack non-Muslims. Each side is antisemitic. The common denominator is hate crime. How this will be dealt with in all three of these trials will be most interesting to follow to see how the law is applied to the facts of each situation including the implications, if any, with regard to free speech. At the same time in London the House of Lords has defeated the Labour Government on its proposed laws for ID cards debated yesterday and the Anti Terrorism law debated today. The defeats occurred with respect to particular portions of these proposed laws which are quite relevant to the problems which are being tried as described above and the problem of surveillance to which I am being subjected. ID cards can be abused for the purposes of the kind of surveillance I am experiencing. At the foundation of the seven years and five months of 24/7 surveillance driven torture and unlawful and criminal harassment carried out against me is hate crime and incitement to violence against me along with attempted murder. The surveillance technology is in the hands of extremists who can be accurately characterised based upon their words and actions as bigots and racists. I am subjected to these words and actions continuously 24/7 in order to be as provocative as possible while destroying human activity and attempting to destroy my life. The direct threats of violence including death threats and the incitements to violence against me are continuous. The great problem is how can such unlawful and criminal behaviour hidden by surveillance technology be dealt with properly? What happens when these extremists are not threatening and abusing an innocent, decent person like me who is fundamentally tolerant and committed to the democratic rule of law, its standards and values? What kind of incitement especially with respect to terrorism will such abuse create when carried out against the Muslim community? How much of this is going on now? How many BNP sympathisers or those of similar character are currently involved in the use of surveillance technology? What about the reverse of this in the hands of extremist Muslims? These are some of the issues I want to raise for I fear that such abuse of power will escalate terrorism with the hapless mass of people in the middle used as cannon fodder by terrorist attacks. There is clearly a significant war developing with both sides of extremism facing off against each other while attempts to control this are taking place under law and in the legal justice system. However, there are those working outside the law as I am experiencing directly. What about them?
