1. The Home Office shows its true colours: cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment of human beings. It appears that this government, i.e., Home Secretary John Reid, following in the footsteps of his Labour predecessors is trying to usurp the British National Party. A comment in the article below refers to "hyping up public emotions" which no doubt these well publicised measures will do. This news item ran all day on BBC News24. This is nothing new. The Home Office has been a key player in the continuous abuse carried out against me for eight years and seven months 24/7 with the use of surveillance technology put into the hands of the general public including those for whom I had reported for serious offences and antisocial behaviour to be used as a torture.

This started with surveillance technology abuse in August 1998 and continues as of this writing 24/7. This is part of an overall policy against people who are not liked and has nothing to do with just illegal immigrants. I am a legal immigrant, but my life has been destroyed for the past almost nine years by this government's policy carried out by several departments of government in conjunction with the general public. I see this announcement as a rolling out publicly of the attitude and policies which have long been used. This government supports the sadistic character of the ignorant and bigoted while also exploiting the mentally ill to act out their violence thus setting a standard for violence and antisocial behaviour in the community. The government now wants to carry out these policies nationally in a programme of abuse against illegal immigrants.

Making life "uncomfortable and constrained" is the policy of this government carried out against me in the extreme with surveillance technology abuse for many years 24/7. Such a declaration by Home Secretary John Reid only makes public a policy by this government against people it does not like. This government apparently believes that it can gain acceptance for a policy of abuse if it singles out a group of people which can be vilified successfully by the ignorant bigotry of the public. Stealing benefits is one way to incite such bigotry along with stealing jobs which John Reid also notes.

By implementing policies which keep people from employment and benefits this government believes that it can incite the public in the same way that the ignorant bigot has been incited against me to keep me from employment during the past almost nine years. At the same time every effort has been and is being made drive me out of my home by a vigilante mob using surveillance technology as a weapon supplied by the government for the purposes of manufacturing allegations to achieve this criminal objective. "Uncomfortable and constrained" is a gross understatement by John Reid which really means the destruction of human life.

Where does John Reid think he will get all the people to do the work he proposes? No wonder the Home Office has been found employing illegal immigrants. Who will create and maintain a "watch list" of those not entitled to benefits? Who will enforce the no work, no benefits and no medical care policy against illegal immigrants? Who will be sending out the text messages to those whose visa are lapsing? How can he track 500,000 illegal immigrants if they are not known to the system? Presumably, if they are known, they could be dealt with properly with regard to the fact of their illegal immigrant status.

The Home Office cannot even get some basics done with respect to illegal immigrants held in prison who are not only known but are held in custody such as processing them for possible deportation when they are released from prison. They have just walked out into the community. Have all of the problems like this one been addressed and cured by the Home Office? This is image management by John Reid creating the appearance of doing something in the Home Office while pandering to the worst and most dark side of the human character.

Reid targets illegal immigrants

John Reid says identity cards are central to measures

A new clampdown is aimed at preventing "foreigners" coming to the UK illegally and "stealing our benefits" and NHS services, the home secretary has said.

John Reid told the BBC he wanted to make life "uncomfortable and constrained" for illegal immigrants.

He unveiled plans for a pan-government effort to ensure that illegal migrants cannot get housing, healthcare or work.

But the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants warned Mr Reid against "hyping up public emotions".

The Home Office plans include a proposal to run a pilot scheme to send text messages reminding people not to overstay their visas.

This has been criticised by opposition parties, but Mr Reid dismissed it as a minor measure, stressing instead the core of the package was to beef up the powers of immigration officers to police the borders, as well as compulsory ID cards for foreign nationals seeking to settle in the UK.

REID'S PROPOSALS
'Watch list' of people not entitled to public services
Enforcement teams to track down bosses employing illegal workers
Compulsory ID cards for foreign nationals
Text alerts for people overstaying visas
Possible £20,000 fines for landlords housing illegal immigrants
Pilot schemes to use ID card data to ensure migrants pay for NHS care

Mr Reid told BBC Breakfast: "It is unfair that foreigners come to this country illegitimately and steal our benefits, steal our services like the NHS and undermine the minimum wage by working.

"Year on year, we are going to make it even more difficult for them to do that."

And he told BBC Radio Five Live: "We are now throwing out more asylum seekers - failed asylum seekers - than ever before."
