Anger syndrome 'under-diagnosed'

IED is characterised by outbursts of unwarranted rage
IED may be more common than previously thought
A condition which makes people lash out violently for no reason is vastly under-diagnosed, say US researchers.

As many as 16 million Americans have been affected by intermittent explosive disorder (IED) in which the sufferer displays unwarranted violent outbursts.

A study in Archives of General Psychiatry showed 4% of the US population had severe IED with three or more outbursts in the past year.

I'm glad to see this getting some long overdue and well deserved attention.

I've been witnessing this syndrome in a family group adjacent to me for a decade.  It's the inability to control a rage that comes from being treated violently as a child.  The inability to cope with abuse as a child internalises a rage reaction against the abuse which conditions the brain at a very early age to violent response that never abates.

This is actually described by Arthur Janov in one of his books.  I believe it can be found in his "Primal Scream" which was published decades ago.

I've reached this conclusion about these people by being made aware of their behaviour from its being imposed upon me by three generations of these people who have engaged in child abuse involving four adults which I reported eight years ago.

The rage driven mother of the children could not control herself and was exploding continuously like a geyser at an object of abuse.  The defenceless children presented a suitable target to victimise and a means to release this rage which continuously built up like the pressure in a geyser which explodes regularly.

Her partner and mother are the same way.  It passes from generation to generation by child abuse, and like attracts like in this instance because people with similar violent characters are attracted to each other.  They bond in a demented way that has a violent base.

Her partner is most violent and flies into a rage easily.  I've had to call the police over a road rage incident which took place under my kitchen window that turned out to involve this guy.  He was the one who started choking one of the children.  The volatility and violence between the children's mother and her partner led to numerous eruptions and his being banished on occasion followed the the typical syndrome of contrition and seeking re-admittance to the household.

Things would happen like smashing a plate on the ground from the balcony of this flat and running outside to calm down from one of these serious rage attacks.  There is no real ability to control this rage, and it erupts frequently.  This is then directed against a nearby and suitable target to be victimised by being blamed as the source of the violence being carried out.

After I reported the child abuse by these people to preserve and protect the lives of the children, I became subject to the abuse and violence from this group of adults.  They came together against an outside threat which might result in a change to their violent lives that they sought to hide.

They were incensed beause I would not be provoked into responding in the manner that they wanted and kept challenging me to "fight."  Ignoring them increased their rage which led to fabricated allegations from them against me in order to get surveillance technology to use against me to see what I was doing and the impact of their bullying provocations.

Thus, the violence syndrome was once again completed with a suitable victim falsely blamed as the source in order to justify the violence while making the victim (me) defenceless with the use of surveillance technology.  The pattern of child abuse was repeated once again only against an adult this time.

Then they used the surveillance technology as a weapon to bully and provoke me into a response that they then could attack.  The mother of the abused children is obsessively driven by her rage which continuously erupts against me as frequent verbal abuse.

I have never responded in kind except to document, characterise what is happening and communicate it during the almost eight years of this 24/7 abuse of surveillance technology including inciting others based upon false allegations to join in and continue the use of the surveillance technology.

The number of people involved indicates the widespread character of this problem which persists in varying degrees inside people who freely participate and permit this obvious abuse to continue.  There are those who refused to participate, but no one stops it.  That is the real problem for society.

I hope you report more on this intermittent explosive disorder (IED) violence syndrome since it is definitely more common than people realise.  In fact, this situation has been turned on its head for the last eight years by those in authority who have and continue to get it completely wrong.  They are part of the problem.

*****End of Email*****

After I sent the above Email a little while ago, there was an eruption of verbal abuse and incitement from those using the surveillance technology.  A female was shouting ". . . wrong" as in "He's wrong," and Lt Harry Bird was inciting someone with "Come on" to do his bidding.  This usually refers to an incitement to move against me in some criminal way to stop my activity.  There was a continuous stream of verbal activity in an intense and abusive tone.

These people had observed my writing the above Email, and since it applied to them, they took a verbally violent, defensive stand against it.   This is called resistance.  It's this bullying and harassment in which they engage to intimidate others that sustains their use of the surveillance technology as a weapoon.  So far it has worked for almost eight years as I described in the above Email too.

After I heard a comment on BBC Breakfast TV this morning about IED, wrote and sent the above Email, I searched for the BBC News article about it which had been published a couple days ago.  Reading its detail amazingly reinforced what I said in my above Email.  I urge you to read this brief BBC News report about IED.  Then the verbal reaction of this surveillance group including members of this abusive family unit described above went on the further to confirm the accuracy of my analysis and reporting by their behaviour.
