HOLISTIC AND NATURAL HEALTH

Web Journal Tuesday 10th October 2006

Today on BBC News24 there have been a series of reports dealing with the employment of the mentally ill or those who have been treated for mental illness in the past. Employers discriminate against these people. Last night there was an hour long programme on Channel 4's Dispatches programme entitled: Britain's Mental Health Scandal. Take a look at the links at the end of the BBC News article below and see the reinforcement of this grave problem. The mentally ill or those who have suffered from mental illness in the past get terrible treatment all around.

I want to re-emphasise the attitude which persists in the community and among mental health professionals and other medical professionals who feel that it is OK to abuse those who are "perceived" as being mentally ill. I want to point out that mental illness is used as a weapon by these and other people to attack those whom they do not like and want to harm such as myself. It is no mystery to me why those who genuinely have a mental health problem have such a difficult time getting effective treatment and are discriminated against in everyway by everyone.

Those for whom I reported the child abuse in May 1998 had obvious emotional disturbances and mental health problems which led to their domestic violence, violence outside and violence against the children. However, they have been able to turn that disturbance against me with their bullying violence to hide it by projecting it onto me and getting support from the professionals involved for all these eight plus years. Whoever gave these people access to the surveillance technology in order to use as a weapon against me commencing in August 1998 shares their disturbances, and this includes all those along the way these years who have joined in to support this intense harassment torture abuse against me 24/7.

I've never had a mental health problem, however these people have made every effort to create one with the use of the surveillance technology as a weapon. This has included the mental health professionals themselves. Last night's Dispatches TV documentary programme with a reporter working undercover in various mental health hospitals revealed serious problems where the treatment to which these people were subjected would contribute to their mental health problems. The same is true here where the mental health professionals have moved out into the community to carry out extensive unlawful and criminal activity.

The fact that I've survived the continuous abuse delievered minute-by-minute 24/7 by these people is testament to my sound foundation, mentale and emotional stability. They are making very effort to provoke me and cause me to break down with the use of totally invasive surveillance technology. When I document and report it accurately, I am attacked as being "potty," "psychotic" or "sick" over and over. Mental illness has become the new object of discrimination, and anyone who is disliked is called these names by people who disagree with what is being said.

This is being supported fully by mental health professionals who are creating this intense discrimination in the community. It's no wonder that society at large has picked up on the this general discrimination. How can the ignorant bigots who pass themselves off as competent mental health professionals be exposed for what they are so that those who are competent can do a proper job? When I write this accurate analysis of what is happening, they step up their abuse all around. How can they be stopped?

People with mental health problems can find it hard to get a job

Employers are far less likely to employ people with mental illnesses than those with physical ailments, a report shows.

Just 20% of those with severe mental health problems have jobs, compared with 65% who have physical problems.

The government is launching an initiative urging employers to improve conditions for people with a mental health problem.

A spokesman for the Confederation of British Industry said the majority of businesses offered staff support.

Employers, especially small firms, need more support and advice in helping employees with mental ill health

It is estimated one in four people will suffer a mental illness at some point in their lives.

And even for those with more common types of mental illness, such as depression, only about half are competitively employed.

However, up to 90% of people with mental health problems want to work, compared to 52% of disabled people generally.
