Brothers Abul Koyair, 20, and Mohammed Abdul Kahar, 23, who was shot during the raid, were freed without charge.
Muslim Council of Britain chief Mohammed Abdul Bari said: "The question the community raises is the genuineness of the intelligence."
Police have defended the raid and said inquiries are ongoing.
Officers are continuing their search for chemical materials elsewhere after finding nothing at the house in Lansdown Road, Forest Gate, since the operation on 2 June.

Two men arrested in terror raid are freed by police

THE two brothers arrested during an anti-terrorism raid in which one of them was shot were released last night without charge.
Abul Kahar Kalam, 23 and Abul Koyair Kalam, 20, were freed from Paddington Green police station after Scotland Yard said it had completed the search of their East London property.

Brothers arrested in 'terror raid' are freed without charge

Two men arrested in an anti-terror raid in east London were released without charge last night.
One week after police swooped on their home in Forest Gate, Mohammed Abdul Kahar, 23, who was shot in the shoulder during the raid, and his brother Abul Koyair, 20, were freed.
Both had been detained under the Terrorism Act 2000, suspected of being involved in a plot to make a chemical device that could be used in a terrorist act.
They had denied any involvement in a terrorist plot and the raid, which involved 250 officers, some dressed in chemical suits, has attracted severe criticism from the local community and prominent Muslim leaders.
The operation will also raise questions about the accuracy of the intelligence used in the raid and the role of the intelligence agencies.

Two brothers held in armed raid on home released without charge

The two brothers arrested last week in an anti-terror raid on a house in east London, in which one was shot, were released without charge last night after police failed to find any link to an alleged biological terror plot.
However, the Metropolitan police said the intelligence which led to the raid last Friday was still being developed, adding that all lines of inquiry would be exhausted.
Mohammed Abdul Kahar, 23 and Abul Koyair, 20, maintained their innocence throughout their detention. They were released from Paddington Green high security police station shortly before 8:30pm after an extensive search of their house.
More than 250 police officers, some of them armed and wearing biochemical suits, burst into the house at 4am last Friday after receiving intelligence claiming that a chemical or biological weapon could be inside. During the operation, Mr Kahar was shot in the shoulder by a police gun. Police maintained that they had been left with "no choice" but to force entry into the home, because there was "very specific" intelligence of a threat to public safety.

Police set free 'terror raid' brothers

Scotland Yard was facing fierce criticism last night after two brothers arrested in a high profile anti-terrorism raid in east London were released without charge.

Mohammed Abul Kahar, 23, and Abul Koyair, 20, were freed a week after being arrested at their house in Lansdown Road, Forest Gate.
Islamic groups warned of a further breakdown of trust between the Muslim community and police. One of the brothers, Kahar, was shot in the shoulder during the operation.
The Metropolitan Police said they would undertake "appropriate restoration work" to the house after the raid, which involved almost 250 police officers - some in chemical protection suits.
The pair were freed as Scotland Yard confirmed that their the search of the house was complete.

The outcome is hugely embarrassing for Sir Ian Blair's force, given the high profile of the raid, which Tony Blair defended.
Police targeted the house after receiving "specific intelligence" - believed to relate to the existence of a chemical-based explosive device. But nothing of this nature was found.

Why have I been subjected to almost eight years of 24/7 surveillance based upon false allegations which still goes on?
These false allegations are made by those warped people who think they are omnipotent thanks to the surveillance technology and never stop telling porkies. They are able to fake it and cover up their catastrophe.
How many bombings will result from this faking it?
Do you have any idea what this does to the community? Everyone knows it's faked.
When are you going to wise up and start reporting the truth about what is really going on so that this can be cleaned up and the public really protected from those right wing kooks who have no ability and are driven by hatred, bitterness and a totally obsessive rage?

This is why these cockups occur.
TB supports the dolts who have taken over operations of the police and security services. There are too many incompetent nut cases who haven't a clue trying to make a name for themselves.
TB should be tearing them apart as the Chief Civil Servant, but he supports them out of fear. They then feel free to do whatever they want, and those dolts at the ground level carry on as right wing wackos who brutalise everyone.
TB is totally out of touch and living on a different planet. First, the police and security services miss the 7/7 and 7/24 bombers out of gross incompetence. Then, they make a raid like this with no results.
They are going to destroy this country unless the media starts providing coverage of the abuses that the police and security services are carrying out which wipe out legitimate efforts by those who are capable of doing a decent and productive job.
They've been carrying out extensive abuse of the surveillance technology against me for almost eight years 24/7 without any legitimate reason for doing so except the hysterical emotional bullying by those I reported for child abuse.
The police and security services support a "shop your neighbour" campaign by those with a grudge. That's why the system if flawed.
If they cannot use surveillance technology for almost eight years 24/7 without coming up with an accurate conclusion, it is being used for corrupt objectives which dominate the system.
If the police and authorities are that gullible and stupid enough to be pushed around by such bullies, they will never get it right. I can see it happening each and every day, and it's been going on 24/7 since August 1998.
It's all over for the Home Office, and this Government will fall when my experience becomes general knowledge. The media will be blamed for not reporting what I've been communicating for years.

Rubbish. I've been deliberately subjected to extreme abuse from the police, special branch and most likely the security services for many years by those who intentionally and deliberately get it wrong.
The standard is to deliberately fake it and mount "raids" of violence along with carrying out a sniper hit. These are all faked and have been my direct experience during these many years of the use of surveillance technology against me as a weapon to carry out false imprisonment, interrogation 24/7 and R&D along with medical experimentation.
There is a deliberate effort to "get it wrong" for personal corrupt self interest. There is no effort to get it right. Those actually carrying out the surveillance think they can fake it and succeed by destroying the target.
Once they get caught up in the process of faking it, they keep digging the hole deeper since they don't want to admit that they have been creating false allegations to justify their activity to keep it going.
The result is that the whole information process gets skewed toward those who are willing to abuse the system with extreme, dogmatic claims that have no evidence while carrying violent intimidation against anyone claims otherwise.
Everyone is afraid to counter those faking it so that it goes on and on. The character of people like this is so violently abusive and criminal in the extreme that they don't care what they are doing to the system. They only care about themselves.
Nothing but nothing is being done to manage effectively and get rid of the rogues who are putting the public at risk in the extreme. That's why there are these dramatic errors and why 7/7 and 7/24 occurred along with the shootings.
