HOLISTIC AND NATURAL HEALTH

Web Journal Sunday 22nd October 2006

"The alternative between regressive and progressive ways of achieving salvation is not only a social-historical one. Each individual is confronted with the same alternative; his margin of freedom not to choose the regressive solution in a society that has chosen it is indeed small--yet it exists. But great effort, clear thinking, and guidance by the teachings of the great humanists is necessary. (Neurosis can be understood best as the battle between two tendencies within an individual; deep character analysis leads, if successful, to the progressive solution.)

"Another solution to man's existential split problem is quite characteristic of contemporary cybernetic society: to be identified with one's social role; to feel little, to lose oneself by reducing oneself to a thing; the existential split is camouflaged because man becomes identified with his social organization and forgets that he is a person; he becomes, to use Heidegger's term, a "one," a nonperson. He is, we might say, in a "negative ecstasis"; he forgets himself by ceasing to be "he," by ceasing to be a person and becoming a thing."

Erich Fromm, The Anatomy of Human Destructiveness, Fawcett Crest Book, Greenwich, Connecticut, 1975, pps 263-4.

Subject: Government By Fear Creates the Problems. What's the "Anecdote?"

During the last few days, we've seen key examples of continuous rule by fear:

1. Britain No 1 al-Qaeda Target

2. Ruth Kelly creates of fear of radicalism on university campuses;

3. John Reid creates fear from losing the argument with radical Islam and its backlash;

4. "British adults 'fear youngsters' ";

5. "Race chief warns of 'fire on the streets' ";

6. Britain is turning into a nation of 'paedophobes';

and incidentals such as

TV creates autism;
ubiquitous CCTV;
UK/Ireland worst in world for binge drinking women;
dirty scalpels cancel 1700 operations;
untreatable MRSA infections;
Britain is losing Iraq and Afghan wars;
global warming feeds itself with tundra meltdown;
MPs fear The Whip, etc.

The whip! The whip!
No! Not the whip!
The whip! The whip!
No! Anything but the whip!
Anything?
The whip.

Big Brother is watching you.
Find out who Big Brother is.
Knuckle under.

Someone's going to have to start a "Fear Monger Index."

We need a fear accumulation list.

Since I live in a state of being subjected to perpetual surveillance driven torture abuse concentrating on smear and fear mongering by vigilante mobsters, I am tuned into the future's fear syndrome.

Those carrying out this surveillance torture concentrate on inducing fear minute-by-minute 24/7 and have been doing so for eight years and two months. Threats of violence and death are frequent. Every normal human biological function is attacked to induce 'fear and loathing.' Hunter Thompson was right.

It's become a way of life for the nation and especially for those who wish to maintain power of some kind whether it be over one human being or over the entire nation's population.

Fear mongering control freakerie will self destruct by inducing a mass catatonic state based upon fear of everything. Is there a word for this yet?

Nothing is safe anymore. Everything is to be feared. The logical conclusion is to do nothing and eventually stop breathing.

Laughter will revive the victim after intense doses of humour.

Get on with it.

Warning over UK race riot danger

Trevor Phillips
Trevor Phillips said Britain is becoming polarised

The polarised debate over full-face veils could spark race riots in the UK, the head of the Commission for Racial Equality has warned.

The debate surrounding the issue "seems to have turned into something really quite ugly", Trevor Phillips said.

"This could be the trigger for the grim spiral that produced riots in the north of England five years ago," he told the Sunday Times.

Mr Phillips said a "gentle, nuanced" debate was needed.

Security guards protect police HQ

Surrey Police sign
Police believe the strategy will free up more officers to serve the public

The Surrey police force has been branded as "crazy" for hiring security guards to protect its headquarters.

Four guards are based at its Mount Browne HQ in Guildford where about 900 constabulary employees work, including the Chief Constable, Robert Quick.

Councillor and ex-member of the Surrey Police Authority, Terry Dicks, said it was "absolutely crackers" for security guards to guard policemen at work.

The police authority said it was following official security guidelines.

A spokeswoman said the guards were being employed to "enable officers not to be distracted from their general policing duties" in line with guidance issued by the Association of Chief Police Officers.
