1. The benefits of an island life: if you don't like the weather, wait a bit. It'll change. Last week I was sweating continuously and drinking over four litres of water a day. Now, it's the opposite. It's looks like jacket weather all this week. Britain is a great place to be in any weather as noted below. There is much to do and many places to visit. It always makes me wonder why parents don't get their children out into London on rainy weekends like this to the museums and indoor places and activities instead of their playing inside the Walkway or worse. London is an incredible education and an excellent children friendly city. Put "Children's London" into Google for a search, and see what you find. Pack a picnic lunch and explore London.

I have always wondered out loud in this environment why parents do not take their children off into London to enjoy all that is available here. The problem with this environment is that it has been turned upside by the few who seek to protect themselves and maintain a standard of antisocial and criminal behaviour. I reported these people for their child abuse which kept increasing after I had placed an emergency call to the police about a violent incident involving one of them outside nine months earlier in August 1997. They turned against me with a vicious campaign starting 11th May 1998, managed to mislead others and obtained the mid-August 1998 installation of and access to surveillance technology used as a weapon against me 24/7 ever since up to and including the present writing.

Even with the use of surveillance technology for eight and three quarter years, they have not managed to get anything right. It still goes on because there is a massive effort by these people to fabricate allegations against me which they cannot make stick for the very reason that they are false. They have been seen to be false, and they have been observed making false allegations. Those who accurately observe reality are driven away by excessive bullying. These people through their own child abuse have sought to ensure that their children do not develop properly. They want their children to grow up to be the social misfits and viciously violent people that they are. This is the standard they seek to maintain in this environment.

As a result, they seek to infect everyone else including the children with there poison. The result has been the antisocial behaviour I keep reporting here and the violent incidents from time to time or the evidence of violence such as the blood spots all over the pavement stones at the entrance/exit to the Estate outside recently. They have been training children to become vigilante types like themselves which is completely opposite the kind of training to acceptable and desirable fundamental standards of behaviour. This is the start of antisocial behaviour which is reinforced by those in positions of authority who continue to allow this abuse of surveillance technology to take place.

This has become an environment where the creation of a scapegoat has actually destroyed fundamental standards of health and safety and denied children the opportunity to grow and develop as they should. They children remain here carrying out antisocial behaviour and worse as they grow older. This is a great tragedy when there is a city like London with so much available for children to grow and develop in constructive and exciting ways. The potential for development can be seen all over London, and it's the exposure to this that can rechannel the narrow, violent and inverted development into a broadened and meaningful process of activity and growth.

There are the few here who have been denied this themselves, and they would deny their children as well. However, they do far worse because they seek to dominate and control others in this environment the result of which is to deny others and their children the freedom to participate and delight in the activity that is available in London. It doesn't take money. It only takes the gumption to get out and see what's there. Instead, there are those who would create a false atmosphere of fear which serves their own demented and corrupt self interest which drags everyone down into their own low level state of non-existence that is orientated around antisocial and criminal behaviour.

This is the kind of destructive behaviour which must be understood, recognised for what it is and prevented from carrying on 24/7 with destruction year after year denying everyone the ability to live their own lives. The re-orientation that results from the abuse of power produces hatred, violence and destruction against other people. This has been the result from putting surveillance technology at the disposal and in the hands of those who are violently oriented and maintain a destructive objective. It is extremely important for all parents to learn the truth, but even more important to make certain that neither themselves nor their children engage in antisocial and, most especially, criminal behaviour. This only service the interest of the criminal at their expense.

There is one key standard to follow in order to ensure that this self destruction of the environment does not happen: do not engage in any activity that is wrong. Vigilante behaviour by taking the law into one's own hands should never be done in any circumstances. It is never justified. Once standards are breached on this basis by those inciting others with emotional fear mongering, the environment is undermined and destroyed. In the meantime those who are mislead in this way fail to participate in one of the most dynamic, active and educational cities in the world while denying their children the opportunity to develop as independent, fully functioning and productive human beings.

Those who seek to exploit others in this way by means of manipulating their behaviour gain at the expense of others who usually wind up bearing the legal liability for the bully who walks away unscathed. In this situation the key people who are inciting others to act in unlawful and criminal ways do not even live here. They do not care about the impact of their destructive behaviour no matter what they might say. They speak for effect to get others to do their dirty work. Then those who did the dirty work carry the can of responsibility while the bully who incited the behaviour walks away fully rewarded. Don't be a fool and allow yourself to be duped by those who seek to manipulate others for their own gain. In this instance the violent bully family group seeks to hide their criminal activity by criminalising others.

Cold and wet? Must be a bank holiday

By Sara Newman

Britain's bank holiday weekend was a washout, with heavy rain across much of the country yesterday, and more wet and chilly weather predicted today.

. . .

A Met Office spokesman said: "The air is cold over all the British Isles. There will be snow on the Scottish mountains. But what is unusual is the heavy rain affecting England and Wales and the low temperatures."

. . .

A Visit Britain spokes-person said: "Even bad weather has advantages: better waves for surfers in Cornwall and snow for skiers. We also have fantastic indoor attractions from museums and galleries to indoor climbing-walls and Xscape snowboarding."

But the weather has been a boon for the new £62m Dickens World, an indoor theme park in Kent dedicated to the author. "We can't take any more people," said a spokesman. "It's been extremely busy"

2. The rain, cold weather and wind came. The low pressure area at the centre of this storm off the Atlantic moved along the English Channel and the northern coast of Spain and France. The counterclockwise winds were thus coming from the northeast which meant the other side of the building and not blowing directly at this side. The board, therefore, fortunately remained on the security cage below, but the fly tipped cardboard box was soaked from the continuous rain.

Mon 28.05.2007 0938 large box by recycle bins from yesterday This is the large box I noted yesterday through the leaves which is visible today since the tree branches are raised by the high winds. I saw this initially a couple hours after the recycle Blue Bin pickup, and do not know if it was present before or placed there after the pickup. It has been in the continuous rain and wind for the past 24 hours at least. It would not have been suitable for pickup in the rain yesterday morning if it was present. All the more reason not to set an example of fly tipping as occurred with the 50+ Orange Bags left on the ground overnight.
Mon 28.05.2007 0946 the inline skate take off board survives the windy night remaining on top of the security cage Fortunately, the wind did not remove this inline skate jumping take-off board from the security "cage" below next to the narrow entrance/exit to the Lancaster West Estate. The wind was blowing from the northeast which put this side of the building on the lee side of the wind. This board should be removed as soon as possible to ensure that it does not constitute a hazard as Britain gets more storms off the Atlantic and possible residue from the upcoming hurricane season. What are the surveillance types supposed to be doing?

3. Her's another far more serious safety and health failure.

Pupils offered bird flu treatment

Ysgol Henllan, near Denbigh
Teachers and pupils at Ysgol Henllan have been given treatment

Children and teachers at a primary school are being offered anti-bird flu medicine as a pupil may have the virus.

The year five pupil at Ysgol Henllan, Denbighshire, is linked to a smallholding near Corwen, Conwy, where a mild form of the virus was found.

A dozen children aged nine and 10 and two teachers are being given tamiflu treatments as a precaution.

Four people have tested positive for bird flu and 12 have flu-like symptoms, but no-one is seriously ill.

The number of people who may have had contact with the disease has risen to 142.

Of those, 47 came into contact "in the household setting," 14 in the school and 81 in "the workplace setting".

The child who is believed to have the virus is said to be responding to treatment at home.

The children and teachers have been identified as having been in prolonged close contact with the pupil, on days when there was a "small risk" of the child being infectious.

4. But, it was Home Secretary John Reid and Home Office minister Tony McNulty who announced these proposals for the police to engage in stop and interrogate. Harriet Harmon makes it sound like the media are responsible when they are just the conduit for her own government and cabinet ministers announcing this publicly through the media.

End culture of spin, says Harman

Harriet Harman
Briefing the media first is 'wrong and divisive', says the minister

The "culture of spin" in the government must come to an end, Constitutional Affairs Minister Harriet Harman says.

She said there was "dismay" plans to give police new anti-terror powers to stop and search were released to the press before MPs knew of them.

"We must turn over a new leaf to win back the trust and confidence of the British people," she said.

Ms Harman - a candidate for Labour's deputy leadership - said important plans must first go to parliament.

It was "wrong and divisive" MPs, cabinet ministers and members of ethnic minority communities should learn of government plans through the media, she added.

Police to get tough new terror powers

By David Cracknell, Political Editor

NEW anti-terrorism laws are to be pushed through before Tony Blair leaves office giving “wartime” powers to the police to stop and question people.

John Reid, the home secretary, who is also quitting next month, intends to extend Northern Ireland’s draconian police powers to interrogate individuals about who they are, where they have been and where they are going.

Under the new laws, police will not need to suspect that a crime has taken place and can use the power to gain information about “matters relevant” to terror investigations.

If suspects fail to stop or refuse to answer questions, they could be charged with a criminal offence and fined up to £5,000. Police already have the power to stop and search people but they have no right to ask for their identity and movements.

. . .

The disclosure coincides with a rare attack by Blair on Britain’s judges for emasculating his antiterrorism legislation. In an article for The Sunday Times, he condemns those who say “civil liberties come first” before the security of the population. “I believe this is a dangerous misjudgment,” the prime minister writes.

Blair also takes a tilt at critics of military action in Iraq and Afghanistan, claiming that “pandering” to a “sense of grievance” among Muslims “will only encourage it”.

The prime minister’s article, and the new terrorism powers, come after last week it was revealed that three terror suspects who were subject to control orders have absconded.

Blair: shackled in war on terror

By Tony Blair

The absconding of three people on control orders because of suspicion of their involvement in terrorism has, once again, thrown into sharp relief the debate about terrorism and civil liberty. Within the next few weeks we will publish new proposals on anti-terror laws. Our aim is to reach a consensus across the main political parties.
