Now the cheers are resounding from the balcony above (higher up) or directly overhead.  

Fri, 01 Jan 1998 - 00:02:49    Door slams below; fireworks in distance; kids yelling out on the balcony now Happy New Year over and over and in unison; obviously not really intended; door bangs below again; the kids see the fireworks and start yelling.

That was all obviously designed to disturb from below.  A reflection of what is to come?

The phone rang one time only as I sat in the chair; dialed 1471 Caller ID: 0973 124 164 called today at 0215.

I believe the 503 type were sitting outside in an auto waiting and watching.  There were sounds from above of a light El Rollo and footsteps in the early phases of the hone calls; believe they were there and monitoring all along;

Fri, 1 Jan 1999 - 00:58:32    Upd to the bathroom a min or so ago and laid back down but got up to add thi bit; couple women were going upstairs as I wentin and out; ignored them and came back out; check sys which was running Discovery.  All apparetnly OK. Laid back down and although a tickel; I am virtualy cough free tonight.

Last night was a very window night wth three separate times when I heard someoing on the baclony below as the result of the wind.

Fri, 1 Jan 1999 - 06:00:11    First cough of the day just nowas I checked Discovery’s end at f0422 (thought it was 0215 or something but knew it ran fro a long time lastnight whilsts I slept on and off.

The first loud noise from the balcony below was righ at the peak of a high wind and came near the balcon door below; As the wind gusted arund thre were several small sounds and I was just waiting for a large one being awake and listening; I was going to get up but when the loud several thump sound occurred I deceded to stay in beand not stir a muscle; I waited fora responde to the nosie but none cam efor quite a while; thre the sound of two sirens way in the distance which went on and off in the distance; finally after what seem lked 10 to 15 mins a car drove by west to east then seemed lik eit turned around and drove back the othe rway after a min or two.  That was all.  The Sirens never did get closer and migh tvery well have been for something else.  


There were two mor esuch incidents but the actual noise was less and at least one occurred again during a high wind gust.  An auto did apear and pull up stoping outside.  Nothing else was heard like the car door shutting.  Discover was still running .  I wanted to get u and at least time the incidnts but did not want to move because I wanted to be able to say thatI was in my bed all night and didnot moe at all which is what I did recisely; After the last car pulled up and stopped Discovery did stop a littble bit after than and ran no more

Fri, 1 Jan 1999 - 06:07:30    The school light has just come one to locate me inside here; I believe the surveillance is still in operatin and that they have the monitoring dvices up in the flat adjacent where they sit out on the balcon at the end of the bldg observing and laughing as was noted yesterday.  Thhey ar tring to locate me now since I got up.

I do not believe that I mae any noises whlst I was dreaming last nightbecause there were no attempt sto yell in my dreams as they were friendly if not a littl ebizarre.  I di dnot cough at all except a couple small times which hardly mattered; I did want to stay in bed and sleep as much as possible in the absence of the cough and noise from above as I needed the rest the most thing in the wolrd.

    Got new bottle of water frmfridge and di dont put the empty on e on top very well since it fell right to the floor causing a loud empmpty plasitc bottle noise on the floor; this was followed by noises from below as I write this.

Thre have been clear hits on the flor above to wake and disturb me.  I was sound asleep earlier wflat on my back with dream but no nightmares when I woke up to what I thought was my ffront door buzzer ringing; Iwas so sound asleep that I did not wake up fully at all to its sound but onlyafterward to the sound of a door slamming below and voices out front whenI heard ne that sounded like the screamer saying “he’s there’; of course I was lang flat on my back hving just woke up.  I sstayed ths way as the commotion and triffic continued outside not knowing what hd happned or was goign on; I moved a little and thre was hits on the floor above; I belive they alo sent a signal to those outside that I have moved; I went back to sleep and woke again when the mooon was in the moddle f the window; cannot remmeber if this was near that first time or not as the moon was exposed but could haveen coming and going due to clouds; the dog was barking at those out front amid dar door slam and arriing vehicles; agan this went on for a bit and I then went back t sleep waking up just a little while ago with no visibble moon.  

I am incensed that my sleep was disturbed when I needed it so much and Iwas absolutely sound asleep; I will not tolerate this harassment to resume with the actvitiy of those aove and below me.

0815    Out quietly; rubbish 3rd chute door still open; 2nd 2 lg 4 sm on floor; no one about; out the other end Bram doors and down passed G Twr to Silchester then thru Verity Close area; up Clarendon Rd to OAP restaurant and down to Portland Rd; thru Julie’s where I picked up a young mother and two small girls going to school evidently; unfortunately they went the same way and with the second nervous look at me in the phone kiosk area I just went the other way from them and met them on that road that comes out of the chuch park to Holl Pk Ave; crossed street and avoided them; went on to Holl Pk Ave and down to Addison, Lwr Addison and Addison Gdns to Shep Bush Rd eventually; went on across thru Tusseley to Ham ESJ.  

0915    Signed on at Hamm ESJ; got the guy again who is very inquistive and explained what I am doing especially in light of the fact that I was early to get back and get to work on my job search activity to maintain continuity without a mid-day disruption; explained about web site activity; Java-2's availability free; Linux with Corel’s WordPerfect; explained the skills prob and job search over the net.  Signed on and left after long conversation.  

0930    Walked to Tesco for food (6.85 chips, haddock, milk, fresh tagliatelle, doz eggs, 2 chicken soups, doz crumpets) and pubs (1.49 PC Direct).  Mis charged for 1.81kg chips 1.59 not 0.99 as stated on case sign; refunded difference and gave me product free (total refund 1.59 which is noted as cash now: chips were essentially free).

Tue, 5 Jan 1999 - 23:54:37    Into bathroom for a pit stp; voices animated coming from a distance (cannot tell whether above or below); not a sound frm me and back into liv room; couple hit on floor above as I sit back downon bed; no traffice sounds outside; got several hour sleep it seems for a change until he woke me up from above and caused the dream upon waking.  Wonder if I made any nises; do not think so.
