Fri, 01 Jan 1998 - 00:00:11    Happy 1999 all you harassers; there was a push chair sound just now on the footpath.  

Now the cheers are resounding from the balcony above (higher up) or directly overhead.  

Fri, 01 Jan 1998 - 00:02:49    Door slams below; fireworks in distance; kids yelling out on the balcony now Happy New Year over and over and in unison; obviously not really intended; door bangs below again; the kids see the fireworks and start yelling.  

Fri, 01 Jan 1998 - 00:04:14    They are all out on the balcony screaming over and screaming; one kid says something in a long window sentence; “come out where I can see you”

That was all obviously designed to disturb from below.  A reflection of what is to come?

They are drunkenly singing and sound quiet inebriated as vehicle doors close; coughing too it seems; music is playing still, and they seem to be singing along to it a bit.  

The phone rang one time only as I sat in the chair; dialed 1471 Caller ID: 0973 124 164 called today at 0215.

I believe the 503 types were sitting outside in an auto waiting and watching.  There were sounds from above of a light El Rollo and footsteps in the early phases of the phone calls; believe they were there and monitoring all along;

[I did doze off for a bit here thinking that I had gotten some good sleep when I woke up but not knowing what time it really was.]

But that person might be singing to the music too.  I actually got to sleep and had a nice rest; woke me back up it did Just a bit above, and it is thumping away now

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 00:58:32    Up to the bathroom a min or so ago and laid back down but got up to add this bit; couple women were going upstairs as I went in and out; ignored them and came back out; check sys which was running Discovery.  All apparently OK. Laid back down and although a tickle; I am virtually cough free tonight.  

[Back to sleep again; but windy with noises on the balcony below (see below).]

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 05:52:41    Door slam below after some laughter outside a min or so before; been asleep on and off all night long for a change; something new in the absence of noises from above.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 05:53:36    Vehicle starts and departs from other end heading west and one arrives from the west pulling up it sounds like at the other end; perhaps here to pickup whoever just departed from below.  

All those dreams last night every time I went back to sleep.  Lots of Irish accents and people and my typical plane journey or one that was to be undertaken but kept changing; queue to the loo to.  

Last night was a very windy night with three separate times when I heard someone on the balcony below as the result of the wind.

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 05:57:24    Door bar/grate noise below.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 06:00:11    First cough of the day just now as I checked Discovery’s end at 0422 (thought it was 0215 or something but knew it ran for a long time last night whilst I slept on and off.

The first loud noise from the balcony below was right at the peak of a high wind and came near the balcony door below; as the wind gusted around, there were several small sounds, and I was just waiting for a large one being awake and listening; I was going to get up, but when the loud severe thump sound occurred, I decided to stay in bed and not stir a muscle; I waited for a response to the nosie, but none came for quite a while; there was the sound of two sirens way in the distance which went on and off in the distance; finally after what seem liked 10 to 15 mins a car drove by west to east then seemed like it turned around and drove back the other way after a min or two.  That was all.  The sirens never did get closer and might very well have been for something else.  

There were two more such incidents, but the actual noise was less and at least one occurred again during a high wind gust.  An auto did appear and pull up stopping outside.  Nothing else was heard like the car door shutting.  Discovery was still running .  I wanted to get up and at least time the incidents but did not want to move because I wanted to be able to say that I was in my bed all night and did not move at all which is what I did precisely; after the last car pulled up and stopped, Discovery did stop a little bit after that and ran no more

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 06:07:30    The school light has just come one to locate me inside here; I believe the surveillance is still in operation, and that they have the monitoring devices up in the flat adjacent where they sit out on the balcony at the end of the bldg observing and laughing as was noted yesterday.  They are trying to locate me now since I got up.

I do not believe that I made any noises whilst I was dreaming last night because there were no attempts to yell in my dreams as they were friendly if not a little bizarre.  I did not cough at all except a couple small times which hardly mattered; I did want to stay in bed and sleep as much as possible in the absence of the cough and noise from above as I needed the rest, the most important thing in the world.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 06:24:42    Voices outside; each going about; vehicle door slams; engine starts; lights facing this way come one; sits there idling.

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 06:26:51    Pulls away just after another auto pulls up on its side and drives away too; so both leave together.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 06:37:27    Into the bathroom for a dump; not a sound until the end when the door below squeaked open and slammed followed by the front door slamming a min or so later; into kitchen to wash hands.  Did not flush toilet yet; after seven.  

Got new bottle of water from fridge and did not put the empty one on top very well since it fell right to the floor causing a loud empty plastic bottle noise on the floor; this was followed by noises from below as I write this.

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 15:56:19    Turned off hot water into tub.  Thunder rumbling from afar.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 16:00:31    Real rumble of thunder then; going to shut down the computer just to be safe until it is over.  Done and unplugged equipment.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 16:02:56    Unplugged notebook to let it run on its battery.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 16:04:37    Hail against the window with lightening flashes close by; got one when I went around to unplugged devices from mains; unplugged all three phone outlets.  Dog barking and people yelling outside.

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 16:06:06    Momentary pause in the hail as thunder continues in distance.  

Much yelling and screaming below; “no” screamed someone, and it went on for a bit; there was loud thumping and banging of things around below; went into bedroom afterwards when the lightening had receded and checked the balcony; merely wet from a very brief hail storm; no standing water at all.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 16:17:59    Plugged it all back in and restarted sys after storm gone.

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 20:27:00    Crawled into the bathroom for a pit stop and back again to the chair and notebook to write down what has happened so far this night no sounds in this latest move.

There have been clear hits on the floor above to wake and disturb me.  I was sound asleep earlier flat on my back with dreams but no nightmares when I woke up to what I thought was my front door buzzer ringing; I was so sound asleep that I did not wake up fully at all to its sound but only afterward to the sound of a door slamming below and voices out front when I heard one that sounded like the Screamer saying “he’s there”; of course I was laying flat on my back having just woke up.  I stayed this way as the commotion and traffic continued outside not knowing what had happened or was going on; I moved a little and there were hits on the floor above; I believe they also sent a signal to those outside that I had moved; I went back to sleep and woke again when the moon was in the middle of the window; cannot remember if this was near that first time or not as the moon was exposed but could have been coming and going due to clouds; the dog was barking at those out front amid car door slams and arriving vehicles; again this went on for a bit, and I then went back to sleep waking up just a little while ago with no visible moon.  

I am incensed that my sleep was disturbed when I needed it so much, and I was absolutely sound asleep; I will not tolerate this harassment to resume with the activity of those above and below me.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 20:33:27    Sounds like the dog is barking out there somewhere now.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 20:37:18    Stomping on the floor above.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 20:41:55    Running feet back and forth stomping on the floor; feet too just above me in the chair making noise.   

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 20:56:13    Finished off the biscuits with a couple coughs; more traffic outside and some noises from above before going off to bed again.  

[Probably went back to sleep for an hour or so]

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 21:54:47    Just went through an incredible series of stomping disturbances from above that were relentless and obviously intended to keep me from sleep or rest; before that there was laughter and voices out front including that of the Screamer and a Window above sliding open to include whoever was upstairs in the general merriment ; the dog below was barking too; before that there was extensive and loud banging of the bar/grate on the door to the flat below as well as the dog barking.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 21:57:49    Horn beeping outside.

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 21:58:54    Two more louder more impatient honks from the vehicle outside.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 22:00:14    Four vehicle doors shut outside; feet stomping above.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 22:03:36    More honking outside; at least three pair of honks; continuous jumping on the floor above as I turn over like I am going to sleep; the jumping is one two up in the air and down on first one that the other foot, and it is over and over again directly above where I am sleeping.  

Sat, 2 Jan 1999 - 22:12:01    A great deal of vehicle door slamming outside after a door slam underneath a couple mins above (some more stopping above too).  

Took off my clothes a few mins ago to sleep because it is hot in here.

Sun, 3 Jan 1999 - 01:59:18    Up to the bathroom and back just as an auto comes up outside.  I made not a sound, but there is a very loud continuous party like noise coming from the other end.

I have been in bed since about 1600 or before sleeping after taking another bath/soak; the door buzzer woke me up again tonight for the second night in a row; then the “car” departed below; I got the notebook off the table because there were more yells and screams from below of a young boy screaming “no” again like last night; this was the second batch of them in the last 15 to 30 mins; they sounded very distant before and did not register because they are subdued and coming from inside the balcony door (closed); there are also heavy banging sounds from below which occurred at the same time.

Mon, 4 Jan 1999 - 01:03:42    Woke up from the food dream where I never got served my breakfast; went through a long process and might have yelled; AOC came in to do the washing up too.  Discovery working away now on the computer.  Autos seem to be arriving outside again.  

Mon, 4 Jan 1999 - 01:10:56    Stomping feet overhead just after an auto pulls up outside; after a pause a car door shuts, and it appears to pull away.  

Mon, 4 Jan 1999 - 02:15:35    Feet clearly stomping on the floor above as I wake up from another dream; must have woken me intentionally and induced the dream; had one about getting things dong; have everything I need just need the time to do it in; Mr Wangfond stopped by fat balding guy sat inside the rubbish can taking the wrong notes. [weird dream]

Mon, 4 Jan 1999 - 02:29:18    Into the bathroom for a pit stop; immed flush elsewhere with water coming down drain pipe; followed right after a light switch sound; must have gone right in when they saw me exit the living room and turned on the light to flush the toilet above; then the water in the wall started from the refilling.  I made no water sounds at all.
