Sun, 17 Jan 1999 - 04:11:15    A thump on the flr aobve signalling that they are there and watching; up and looking; I just woke up from another dream; this onea restaurant dream and dating situatin where I was sleeping int eh frontn an dheard someone arrive and talk goign by; Iwas waiting to get up and saw someoen looking through the window; all very non[threatening; I finally waoke up and turned over; this was followed by the fast fly by of a typical auto and then the stomp above.

Much traffice outside as soon as I start to move over; at leats three vehicles go by and now there is the sound of two vehicle doors slamming.

Sun, 17 Jan 1999 - 07:37:07    Just ended bath sequence by dressing in sweat clothes and listenign to the dog bar from theWalkway end to the front window side of the flat below followingthe thrid and final (evidenlty) loud door slams, bar/grate noise and locking of the locks; it must have been finally left alone; these all started just as I was finishingmy bath and draining the tub; got out and dried myslef and combed my hair (deodorant too); cleaned tub as it emptied to the comings and going below which were well noted by eceptionally loud noise; Thewater in the wall started after the tub had finishe drainigng and I was leaving the bathroom; it had also continued for about f]the first two thirds of the bath; The start of the bath was a top up and toilet flush during whch no water sound in the wall nssued; Only after this was completely over and I was in the tub with its overflow draining did the water in the wall begin and continue for sme time; I believe that it was the one below taking a bath; or someone else like above;

Mon, 18 Jan 1999 - 12:11:50    Laid down about 1100 (kids went back into school as I was falling asleep) and had a nice nap and more dreams; intl bore; cigars from JY; general models; dreamed about what I just heard on R4 Woman’s Hour about the “It” girls.  Fell asleep listening to a read story that was nonsense so I turned it off and laid down on the “bed”.  Right off to sleep again as the voices disappeared from the playground.  Slept flat on my back too.

Mon, 18 Jan 1999 - 22:46:28    Up for an hour and a half listenign to the R$ and starting with a crumpet w/ cheese; wlked into the kitchen and rtnd to the chair; Radio 4: picked p on the last part of a programme about Dolphins; Paxman and Tom Stoppard Will in Love; Emily Watson Jacqueline Du Pres (Jackie and Hilary); Mike Smith Enigma; Susannah Frank; then the news for 45 mins (the added 15 mins to this); al   all thur this there were exceptional noises from outside and overhead as there are now with a foot tapping; the bench warmers were gathered out there for some time but left about tenor so; waitingand watchng for a sighting or noise?; thre was a great deal of traffic; and clearly the was a thud in exasperation about ten thirty or so from above; seems as though they were not able to get what they wanted frm me. Back to bed now and to sleep maybe.  If the noise from above will permit as it is going no now.

But a beautiful view; no talkingor conflct so it was a calm ream; When tring to go to sleep earlir; there was a final seuence of footsteps above obviously deliberately designed to disturb; they left arund eleven followed by front door slamming; voices on the front foot path but that was all; no car door slams or departures that I could hear; sounded like the other group above invied in to watch me for the evening who woulnd up disturbing me at the end when I went back to bed thinking I had fallen aslep and trying to wake me up and induce a night mare although the ones ouside had left (unless these wer esome ofthat group); many people are in on the surveillance now.  Discovery is running an di tsounded like th eFDDD acces a little while ago.

Mon, 18 Jan 1999 - 08:17:43    Video fine with wet track along the window; there is a white car facing this wayabout the fourth one back from this end (including vacant space below where the idling rumbler pulled out from earlier); could very well be this auto that beeped as it is parked some distance away (just the other side of the near wall stairs sort of opposite the far bench near the road); caught the blue MC near DP stairs departing in perfect clip (011999mcdep).  Very dark this morning and looks like it is raining outside; certainly wet.

Briefcase ready; rubbish from kitchen; both by door; paused in hall before going until noises subsided; there was honking when I went into the hall; fat woman came back to her flat upstairs; she could have been the one in the white car outside facing this way who was honking the signal of my movements; she has a white hatch back; lucky I paused for a bit; flushed toilet and left; put rubbish down top open chute; safety door on the floor; walked down the middle stairs with a guy coming out of the flat on the right (prob about 509/10); tall, clean shaven head of a big black guy; as I went out the Bram bottom door the top door opened behind me with voices; do not think it was the guy coming out of 509/10.

It had just about stopped raining as I walked along the way past Gren Twr to Silchester Rd and thru the Verity Close area; walked up Clarendon in the light sprinkle to the road down to Portland Road by the restaurant that used to be W11; walked past Julie’s on to the church park and out to Holl Pk Ave; “the” blue truck came up from St Ann’s and turned left at the roundabout to head to the church park just as I was on the other side of the street; the driver turned to look at me; it looked exactly like the 503 blue truck; walked down Hall Pk Ave to the Addisons and on across Holl Rd to Shep Bush Rd crossing that and via Tusseley Rd to the Hamm ESJ.  

1010    Waited in the queue for a bit; saw a closely shaven and stocky young trainee being monitored by another young guy with dark hair; explained that I was an hour early and when asked why said that I was doding rain drops since I have to walk about an hour and half roundtrip; when the weather lightened up I lit out hoping to miss the rain if it got heavier later; explained what I had been doing during the past two weeks: downloads each day; Guar web site problem on weekends; trade press; Java download and work; web site.  Signed me on OK and I left.  

1025    Walked back via Tusseley Rd to Tesco for food (5.13 2 biscuits, 2 pasta, qt milk, 12 crumpets, 12 eggs, 10 slices cheese; sunflower spread) and hshd (0.49 matches).  

1100    Walked back the reverse of the way over with no rain until toward the end when it began to sprinkle again.  Police van like the one I have seen going by here passed me as I approache Blythe Rd corner and went slowly by stopping at Blythe Rd for a bit; taking photographs? Probably since it was paneled out and had darkened windows inside for looking out without being seen.

    The bar/grate door below was open; heard a mail flap noise and a child cried (sounded like the little girl next door); as I was unlocking someone sounded like they were coming out below but stopped; not until I was inside with the door closed did the guy next door come out with his little girl and leave.  

1145    Home.  Put away food; changed clothes; set up notebook and setup sys and video.  

Tue, 19 Jan 1999 - 12:02:57    Video looks almost perfect; only a couple streaks of water on the right; MC still be near wall stairs; reviewed the Gotcha bit from when I left: seems short and no traffice except at the beginning and end; eating biscuits and updating diary.

Tue, 19 Jan 1999 - 12:15:50    Police car picks someone up at the turning in the road; looked like it had just turned around up there and headed back east.

Tue, 19 Jan 1999 - 12:37:51    Rumbler comes back from the direction it left (east) parking facing this way by backing up in front of white (fat woman’s?) car; guy gets out carrying two bags of groceries; he went up the near wall stairs; I went to the door and saw him come to, unlock and enter flat 505.  So the rumbler in the dark bug is the guy from 505.

Tue, 19 Jan 1999 - 13:00:58    Flushed toilet after a dump and washed hands; noises below of little girl screaming and other noises when I was in bathroom. No other noises outside except the sound of one person coming; looked but saw nothing.  Listening to R4 WaO.  

Tue, 19 Jan 1999 - 13:07:43    MC returns; watch him drive onto the Estate and park on other side of near wall stairs.  He walks to DP stairs.  Went to door for awhile but did not see him go upstairs.

Tue, 19 Jan 1999 - 13:19:27    White top comes back from Bramley Rod parking below facing other way (in front of 505's dark rumbler).  

Tue, 19 Jan 1999 - 13:21:13    Started to get out of white top; back in and now out; opens boot; puts something inside car; back to boot; locks car and heads to DP stairs.  Went to the door but saw nothing; next door guy and his little girl’s voices heard; she is a happy child by comparison with the one below who screams.  

The great difference is that the child next door is a happy child and was a happy infant; she laughed and giggle and had a good time; she cried too but that’s what infants and children do but it was normal.  By contrast they do not laugh and are happy below; their only laughter is that couple with sadism and delight in retribution; the children scream and cry; they do not laugh and are not happy.  The infant screams below instead of crying; there is no gurgling laughter and happiness; the child is also a crier with a very low threshhold for crying.  He starts crying to ward of punishment just has the infant must have learned to do at a very early age.

Just after I enter, I diealed 1471 to see if there were any phone calls; none last call from Sue last night.  Unplugged phone to prevent any more calls until after I talk with her.  Then came a voice outside sounding like the screamer talking from a balcony.  Think it might have been in reference to me; but later wondered which balcony she was on and why?  

Someone knocks on a door below as I change clothes in the bedroom causing the dog to bark.  It goes on barking for a while.  When I looked out the front door, someone went into 507 (this was after several more mail flap knocks).  The dog was still barking (wondered if he did not knock on 503 first then go to 507.  Also, its barking made me think there was no one there in 503; the bar/grate door was closed when I came in poss indicating that they have gone (it is open sometimes which tells me that they are there; the voice on the balcony could have been someone above describing my actions/arrival back home.  

Cooked some pasta and set up notebook.

Last night was the tenant meeting; that’s why I got four hours sleep until just before eleven (five or six hours sleep actually; they were not here and were at the meeting; when they returned they woke me up with the stomping on the florr above.  After I got back to sleep again I had antoher two to three hours sleep.

Several vehicles went by as I ran the modem; one went by as I put it in the blanket beforehand; another came back up the road (heading other way) as I it daled; and this one might ahve turned around to come back just as it finished the download;

Door slam below a I wrote the above describing what happened during and just befoe the download.  

Thu, 21 Jan 1999 - 06:59:21    Just went into the bedroom to fetch the shoes from the heater; continuous thudding from below in that room; it cannot be occupied; there are tailights (and headlights but tail lights are facing this way) at the oother end of the road on this side; smeonewas walkingto Ttesterton Walk; did not see this auto in video when retutunred but did see lights on other ide of road; what looked like one tail light.

Thu, 21 Jan 1999 - 07:03:54    Door slam above as I go into the bathroom; somone in olive drap clothes and what looks like a hood wearing boots that thump down the stairs and carrying a white heavy bag descends from above; door slams sounding like front door but this would be longish for the one who just come down fromabove.  If it is the MC driver; the videeo will pick him up.  Yes, I got him at 0707 departing; a perfect sequence; file 012199mcdep_0707.mv2.  

Absolute water silence in wall as I filled the tub; only the hot water tank refill made any noise; the tub had drained a bit from its half full point after yesterday’s filling; sat in as it filled and then turned off; filled to the point of just draining when I was completely in.  There were two noises from doors in Walkway; one immediately after I entered the bathroom which could have been below followed by front door slam and then later a front door slam followed by flat door squeak and close elsewhere.  Early there was an infant scream which sounded like the one below; then later there was the happy laughter of the one (now growing older) next door; there were sounds below but believe that they came from the bathroom next door as that child was happy and bathed; those sounds stopped as soon as I pulled the plug on the tub; must not have heard anything until then.  Otherwise it was a very quiet and enjoyable bath, hair, shave which has been sadly lacking for some time.  Went into bedroom to dress afterwards and noted several autos going by heading this way durng that short period; propped open the bedroom door to allow the hot, moist air to dessipate from the bathroom.  Went into the kitchen and fixed pasta.

Thu, 21 Jan 1999 - 08:02:25    Screamer yells out front.  One more time.  Yelling a name but cannot understand.  Might not be screamer; now talking and sounds like from balcony below; chattering back and forth; could be that some woman called the screamer’s name and she came out  or is talking from the window; definitely sounds like her voice.

Thu, 21 Jan 1999 - 08:21:22    Rinsed out the pasta pot and dish.  Just now more loud bar/grate  clanking noises from below after which the dog starts barking again.  

Thu, 21 Jan 1999 - 08:30:40    Just missed [no see below] blue boy (B576 YTC) leaving DP stairs I believe from the sound and not on video; but in checking I got the near wall stairs MC departing just after I saw him coming downstairs as I went into to take a bath.  Perfect video shot: 012199mcdep_0707.
