Mon, 1 Mar 1999 - 07:56:21    Turned on hot water into tub a few mins ago with minimal noise (thick bleach into toilet tool); no sounds from anywhere; sounds like everyone has moved out.  

Mon, 1 Mar 1999 - 08:03:07    Turned off hot water into tub following the turn on of water noise below after I ran the cold water for a bit.  Believe that the hot water makes no noise whatsoever and was running fine; but as soon as I turned on the cold water for a bit I starte getting noises below followed by the sound of water in the pipes which is nothing like the little noise that the cold water makes; shut it all off for later.

Awakened twice tonight; this time and one time previously; that is ver goodwhich means that I got a reasnable six ous of sleep so far; but only remember one dream and that was the most recent; it was quite benign; I was questining Hank Graham about his going to the Naval academy; so I could have been talking in my sleep; asked him all sorts of questions but never got to the point of why asked hem; woke up an dlay very still; not a sound from anywere; it was absolutely still; just like when they make noise and see me wake; they go absolutely quiete; I reach e up to scratch my neck and that started the actviity;sounded like aI got a response from the Screamer who said something; noiss started and I finally turned over on my side; there was the sound ofa door lock operating and the doo r opened and slammed; believe thi sto be a simple means to cause disruption and wake me but I was alrread awake an dheard it; there was walking on the floor directly above me; I sat up and put on my glassses an dgotp; went intothe bathrom for a pit stp an dput on my trousers; there was the sound of what I thought was the front door followed by voices (mail and female) but they never came this wa.

Came int the living room; sloudched to the kitchen and opened a can of tom soup; oured in a glass; rinsed the tom soup can and put in th erubbish; back into living room; stoped by bookcae fro a min an dslouched to chair with tom soup glas in my and.

Sometime in the middle of the evening I was awakened by the soud of someone whistling in the Walkway and this male intermittently calld somene’s name; at first I thought that it was a warning or signal that I had made a noise of some sort and he was alerting everyone as to when it had hapened so they coujdl say they heard; he wnet on an don whistline and called a name; I thought that he was at th emiddle of the Walkway and not at this end; there were one or two other noises; I hought that I had heard someone yelling or talking outsid throug the wall but nothing else; I waas so tired that I laid in bed fo ra while listening t this; ah yes someoen came down the stairs I think and left from above; I wanted to get up and write down what was going on especially the time but I was too tired and went back to sleep; I might have had a dream before wakening but I do not remember it and d onot think it was a nightmare at all if I did dream something; I do believe that I was awakened either by the persistently whistling or frm above/below becaue I was so tired and groggy wen I woke; it was not a natural waking up; I di dgo back to sleep and di dnot wake up until just a little while ago.

Mon, 1 Mar 1999 - 00:16:21    As I wroe he above there has been some tracffic outside but in the second half as if tey were solw to get started and it was wet with that sound of tyres on the road; there was sounds of movement overhead in th esmall room area including the shuffling of boards which I took to be directly over the small room; Iheard tha in here; then there was he apparent noise of something being set up in this room but in the floor oabove area that is just inside the living room door; I believe they moved their piece of equipement over t the door way of this room just inside it to be able to see me and the exit t othe hall/bathroom and small room whn I go back; there was talking just now outside from a male voice. That setup inside the living door aea migh t ver well be to cature my movements in the room at large if I change an droam to any part of it; how they do it I do not know but they do it an dcan see me.

Mon, 1 Mar 1999 - 04:50:04    Into living room chair after door slam below got me u; stopped for a bathroom pit stop and someone flushed a toilet (overhead) that sent cascades of water down he drai n pipe followe d by a very loud refilling soundof water inteh pitpes; al occurred while I was in the bathroom; I did not flush toilet or turn on the water at all; two noises fromme were the doors squeak just at th een d of closeing the smll room door and opening the bathroom door (each was a very slight squeak); put on trousers and came into living room.

The door below squeaked open and sslammed shut followed by bar/grate clanking and locking sounds; very loud and woke me up; then the person walked away and lefft by the frotn door which slammd shut.  This is a perfect example of being unable to sleep past five in the morning a sthey start leaving from below hen.  

I went back to sleep shortly after one am and after some more noises from aove; Went to bathroom to take of trousers and into the little room; the sound of activity above followed by was tring to be subdued; sounded like some equipment was moved back overheadand there was other sounds up there; I believe Iheard the sund of a door being slamme again but not certain; again I wish that Ihad my notebookwth me to record each occurrence but was tired and went tosleep; I slept for a good four hours sineI was not disturbed as far as I know; I did have a dream and it was one that I remembered all parts about but have now forgotten them; if I could have written it down immediately I would have gotten it all; must start doin gthi; it was a good dream and not a nightmare; do not believe that I said anything in my sleep; woke up an dlay awake for awile but dd not note any noises; however, it seemed to me that someoen commented on someting I didat one point (either falling asleep or waking up) but I cannnot remember exactly or be certain; again anothe rreaons to have the notebook next to me to record what happens; I was dropping back to sleep when the oor below squeake d an dslammmed waking me and getting me up as I wanted to see the time and record it.

Mon, 1 Mar 1999 - 06:30:06    Into the bathroom to start the hot water top up and take a bath.

Got into tub as it was filling and hot water tank was refilling; door shutting noise as I sat there; even thought I heard a noise in Walkway before this outside my door/bathroom window.  Turned off the hot water and sat and soaked in the tub for a long time; finally there were two door shutting sounds as if someone either came out and went back in or had finally gone back in after that door noise I heard at the beginning.  Washed hair and shaved.  

When I started draining the tub, water noises in the pipes occurred from someone else running water; perfect queue I guess to associate it with me; almost fell getting out and made some noise; the tub was slippery; think it is the bad Sains soap I got this time (they’ve tried to cheapen it; no cleansing power and leaves residual); dried off; cleaned tub as it emptied; flushed toilet and put thick bleach in it; got Afghan from small room and put on file box with cardboard and modem in  it; into kitchen for tom soup; back to table and deshrouded monitors and sat down only to have:

Lots of traffice out there again whilst I was searching for the OcR software prices and info; just got a beep followed by a double beep outside rightnow; whilst I was initiall logging on to the Net there were voices talking our front coming down the Wfootpat followed by the sound of a vehicl edoor slamming; but I heard no more auto sounds of driving away; now there are feet stomping on the other side over the small room area.

The ream was a conflict one ending with a huge guy leaning against me by the train doors as it was aproaching the last or the stop I wanted to get off; I omplained abu tit and moved aside to let him lean agains the doors whcih then oened and I had to grab him to kee him frmfallng out; hewas a fat obnoxious guy who was aparently half asleep or runk; got off at th station and went to see people who were waitinting for me but they were not thre; looked up at the table are and saw only four or so people who were not them; I had anticiate hat the would not be ther and was not disappointed; ne woman changed positions so that she exposed herslef and a guy sittting next to her was doing something that made me recognise him an dalso ignore him; he was waving or notng my presence; can’t remember wih; before all of this thre was activity surrund the event that was to take place an dplans to go thre and meet at this area; finally fo rsome reason that had todo wihthe train; that was not ging to occurr so I went on up into the mountain myslef; I woke up at this point

Not sure if I made any sounds or talking about the guy lenaing against me but I did protest and say somethng t ohim; that m have escaped; there were not sounds abue me.

Just after I went to bed this very last time have shut off the radio before hadn and head the cvehicle door slam outside; someone came into the flat below and slammed th edoor three separae times.

The first time was an entry that caused the dog to bark continuously an a male voice told it to be quiet the as the sound of th ebar/grate openng/unlocking an dhe door as well which was slammmed and th edog then stoped barking; aftr just a few mins e door squeaked open and slammed again; but this was followed by another squeak as whoever it was went back intdie the flat below only tore0exit again and slam the door all over again for the thrid time in a row; this was followed by the bar/grate slamming and the sund of its beng locked.

About five or tn mins afer thshi; thre was the sound of a lock being tunred in a door; this might have been whoever was in the flat below locking another lock on that door which does not operate when it is slammed or someone upstairs lockng the door up there after being out and listening to what was happening although I heard nothing more from upstairs and had not heard anything durng the period I was awake and downloadnig.

When I went back to bed and after remving my trosers in the bathroom; I heard talking from the one I thought was the screamer as I entered the small room and took it to be a descritinof what I was doin (ging back in); afer a few mins of laing own and listening a door opened in ehwalkway and slammed; this was followed by a short shuffle of someone walking across the Walkway followed by a bar/grate sound; the dog barking noisily below and the door below squeaking and slamming loudl; evidenlty someone from another flat or those below or one from below came runing back to 503 afte rI enered the small room but witha dela to make cerain I wuould not see them; ths could be anothr person froma flat below to act as a witness; the phone rang then for about five or six rings; whethr or not thihis was below I do not know; but it sounded like it might be the phone below but coud have been above;
At one point when I rach down to scratch my gentalia the floor directly above me was hit several time; ths confirmed that they were up there with thir equaipment and could see me perfectly in the pitch black room and know exactly what I was doing.  

At one ponit the small dog started barking followed by the dog underneath; both these barking dogs were in the flat below; that tells me tha tthe fat woman from 541 was in 503 too; I susp to at as a witness and she migh have been the third person there assuming that at least one 503 member; the onterh frm a nearby flat and this on from above were all there waiting and watching for me to make noises in my dremas; with the loud nise above me it was obvious ta tey were trying to disrubr m; again I heard furthe spring like nises from that mechanism that I thnk might be the balcony bar/grate door and is used to disturb me; I was awake for a bit listenign toall ofthis before fallingasleep.

I had two dreams just before waking up a little whie ago; a runnign dream in Boston and and a second conflit dream tha invovled some ativity with another but I have alreay forgotten ti despite havin gi fresh in my mind; I must take the noe book int the small rooom and write as all these things hapen that means withthe chod;  

After I woke I heard some noises below especially that spring door once again which was designed to disturb an dwake me but I was awke and lying stil; I believe that they did not think I was awkae and perhaps had not made any noise from my reams so they continued t try to wake me; this was th t the sound of he door being used below becaue her wwere no other noiese;

Finally after a few mins five to fiftenn Igot up sat up and put on my glases; listened fo ra noise and went into the bathroom to put on my trousers; into the kitchen standing up for some more biscuits an dback arund the bookcase again standing up to the chair; I heard nothing urin gthis entire sojuourn.

Ths is what I hea lst nih when I heard someoencome from a nearby flat into the one below thinking that it was a narbour joining the occupant of flat 503 below when it was not.

Wed, 3 Mar 1999 - 06:47:02    Went int othe bathroom a little whie ago for a dump; oher sound sof water flowin gin the wall but I did not flush he toilet; later when I fill eh tub; came back and read Ngs befor eenering this note.

Wed, 3 Mar 1999 - 07:09:41    Went into the bathroom at 0700 to start the tub filling and created a mess; fluhsed the toilet; started the hot water flowing into the tub; went to pour the thick bleach into the measuring cup (not over the toilet) and it overflowed onto the bathmat (towel); had to put it in the sink; wipe up the bleach from the floor (as best I could); put towed in bucket; fill bucket with hot water in kitchen sink (will now have nice likght spot on towel I’ll bet); went back to bathroom to put it back in order and mob a bit more on the floor with the sponge for any excess bleach; it if cleans the floor; I will put thick bleach all over it!!

Laid down just for a min to rest I in he small room; the dog underneath started barking out on the balcony and kept barking (believe this was helped along); finally there was someone in the Walkway making loud noises whistling and that caused the dog to bark; needless to say this kept me awake and woke me up; do believe it was intentional; finally there was the sound of someone overhead that clinched it; someone is definitly up there trying to be as quiet as possible.
