                there was a sound of rhythmic thumping sounding like sexual intercourse that went on for a bit directly under the sink as I worked about the time I filled the measure cup with noiseless hot water; this made no sound at all since I filled the cup and shut the tap so nothing overflowed or made any noise whatsoever;

                rhythmic pounding from below same as earlier when I ran the water to fill the pot; continued for as long as the water ran; water makes no discernable noise whatsoever; is this an coincidental “thumping” from activity or a deliberate pounding on noise of some sort from the kitchen?  I made virtually no sound at all

                Lots of noises from below and one departure from above; door sound and bar/grate clank from below; someone went out and came back after about five mins; went out talking to someone; must have been the dog followed by front door slam; after few mins someone came back to the flat below with the bar/grate and door noises; then a loud noise inside below like they dropped something;

                at the beginning I heard someone coming out and went to look; saw a guy in short, dark hair, olive drab sweater run down the stairs from above; he had said something to someone just before this just after I went into the bathroom; that’s and door noises are why I went to the peephole; then the activity in and out of the flat below started;  

                there was another departure/arrival with door slam and bar/grate  noises later; noises from below including light switch noise (double click) followed by a second light switch noise some 5 or so mins later; between there were noises from below;

                washed hair; shaved; washed; drained tub when water in the wall noises began for the first time with a bit of the throbbing noise; stayed in the tub for most of the drain; dried off; wiped out tub; brushed hair; remained in bathroom for a bit; crouched back into the living room;

Mon, 28 Jun 1999 - 20:34:24    Just returned from trip to the bed to get the pop tapes (got 1, 2 and 3); there was a beep outside and yelling back and forth outside and above including an auto pulling up; was this coincident (hardly) or a comment about my moving around?  Only time in an otherwise quiet evening out there all night so far. Playing tape one.  [This is definitely a replay of what happened each and every evening when I went to bed early; only this time I went back to the chair with the tapes.]

It has been a very busy night outside since about ten o’clock.  

[This could be a prime example of a set up: the bathroom hits came some time after I entered the bathroom and those outside might have been there to “spot” me returning to the living room; next door could have gotten a call that I was there and went to the kitchen to bang on the wall; these then could be attributed to me with presence noted by the spotters outside; this process of hitting the wall after I enter the bathroom is not uncommon.]

Tue, 29 Jun 1999 - 09:38:33    Crouched into the bedroom to look at the balcony since it was still raining; balcony just wet; not much water on it at all; damp really; there was no water moisture noticeable at the bottom of the pipe where it used to show; the part was all dry; areas darkened by water moisture were coming up from the bottom to either side of the pipe but it was all dry around the pipe and extending out a bit on the area of molding some six or so inches high along the bottom of that wall which the pipe comes down from above; this is very surprising and the reverse of last year when I described it all; have they fixed the leak from the pipe?; I looked out both ends of the “curtain” and go someone yelling outside when I first went into the bedroom (was whoever yelling the “he’s in the bedroom” to all and sundry?);

                went back to the bathroom for a pit stop; that curious noise of water continuously draining down a pipe but very quietly continued throughout this sojourn as before; is this a water drain from the roof or run off inside from the balcony area?; I made not a sound;

                crouched into the kitchen to fix lunch; got stuff from the fridge; two measured cups of noiseless hot water put noiselessly into the brown rice and red lentil pot; sliced chilli pepper, ginger, garlic;

                sliced onion which slipped from my hand as I was taking the outer “husks” off; it fell on the plate making a noise; first time that ever happened; a voice came from outside after a bit sounding like the screaming talking in a very severe tone to a male perhaps about the “noise” I had just made (don’t know really and cannot say exactly where it came from); rinsed onion and plate in noiseless hot water; potato, carrot, ½ broccoli; put stuff away and turned pot to simmer when it came to a boil; crouched back into the living room;

Tue, 29 Jun 1999 - 22:34:14    That was a really hard and loud thud against the wall or even ceiling below in the small room wall area; it was so hard that it caused me to jump; nothing could be more clear that they know exactly what I am doing and know that I have gone to bed and am trying to go to sleep; that hit with such ferociousness was intended to disturb to such a degree as to cause an involuntary reaction in the form of a nightmare and probable talking in my sleep as I try to fight the disturbance and distress caused by it; this is pure terror and nothing more that was not an accident nor a one off  hit; it was of such magnitude that it was made with all the force possible and definitely intentional.
