Mon, 23 Aug 1999 - 05:47:52    Awake again after dozing off and having some more dreams; very unusual and interesting; getting a place of my own and cleaning it; sounds familiar;

Mon, 23 Aug 1999 - 05:49:06    Crouched into the bathroom for a pit stop; door noise in Walkway just as I hit the time mark someone coming down the stair from above just as I entered the hall; too late to see them; I made not a bit of noise; auto alarm went off outside briefly;

                    into the bedroom for my trousers; brought them back to the bathroom to put on; the dog below barked twice from inside the flat below; the front door slammed; the dog barked once loudly into the walkway; went to the peephole; could not see anything but heard the sound of a key chain rattling as the door below was unlocked; crouched back into the living room picking up the notebook from the bed; moved it to the table soundlessly and myself to the chair;

Mon, 23 Aug 1999 - 07:37:41    Crouched into the bathroom for a bath and a pit stop; started the hot water tub filling to top it up; bubble noises at first to clear the hose then silence except for the hot water tank refilling; I made not a sound; there was the loud scraping of furn below for a bit; substantial; then loud thumpings and thuddings below; light switch noise with a double click below too; climbed into the bathtub while still filling to soak; turned of hot water and put nozzle in the sink on top of the wash cloth (no noise); soaked and rested for a while; very tired; exhausted; washed hair, shaved; washed; no much noise; door slam; mail flap knock; cleaner noisily putting rubbish down the chutes; sweeping nearby hitting the railings; someone comes out from above and runs down the stairs talking with someone else; drained tub while in it; wiped out; dried off; brushed hair; flushed toilet; started hot water filling again simultaneous with toilet flush; into bedroom for clean underwear; back to bathroom to get dressed; crouched into the kitchen to put laundry in bucket; crouched back into the living room;

                there were four separate door slams with locking/unlocking noises and bar/grate clankings below near the beginning of my bath; my sense of it is that some arrived then departed twice; there were noises below between the 3rd and 4th door slam and silence afterwards; otherwise all was mostly silent;  

                shaved, washed; drained tub; dried; into bedroom to dress; someone came out a left as I was going back to the bathroom; looked out the peephole but saw no one; wiped out the tub; crouched into the living room;

When I noted the music coming from outside on the road; there was the vibrating sound of voices underneath with their resonance while I was trying to get back to sleep; in fact that is when I did fall asleep again;

[Fell asleep again but for 2.5 hours this time as normal bringing the total to over 3 hours so far for the night;

Wed, 25 Aug 1999 - 01:36:49    Theatre dream with the poster and ad for selling Beckett’s Waiting for Godot; the featured cast changed to another after waiting for the right something but cannot remember what; woke up when the faces on the poster all changed including the director dressed in a skull cap; it ended with getting dressed in a sweat shirt that said Oxford Univ on the front; did not like that and changed to one that said CU; [I was very tired at this point and very difficult to sit up to write this; I just wanted to stay laying down and go back to sleep but it was very important to note this and the time]

Wed, 25 Aug 1999 - 02:31:37    Couple guys go by out front heading to the road from the front door talkng and laughing loudly. [they were talking about “fucking” and thought they were describing those actions that have been erroneously imputed to me]

Wed, 25 Aug 1999 - 02:50:16    [Test; no reaction at all except at least one auto coming up to park from the Bramley direction; there were no noises from anywhere else at all; failed test completely]

[Another three hours sleep (almost) bringing the total to 6 hours total for the night; I was very tired as noted by my going to sleep immediately which makes the waking up after 45 mins or less most unusual and could only have been done by outside noises; also remember a siren in this at some point but cannot recall exactly when; might have been going back to sleep; it was disturbing enough to wake me but I was so tired that I could not move and went back to sleep]
