Sun, 23 Jan 2000 - 17:57:30    Into the bathroom for a pit stop; prelims outside bathroom; sound of water running below; someone came in below fast; sound of female voice talking urgently; continuous working at a panel-like activity below as if it was difficult to get open or replacing sample bottle; this continued during the entire time I was soundlessly in the bathroom; then a water drain sound came from below; got up and left with wall water pipe noise beginning from the above flush just starting; the continuous “panel-like” noises stopped immediately; stood by door for a bit finishing; thuds and thumps then came from the wall water pipe panel; was it another false sample using flushed water from above while I was in the bathroom(?); I made virtually no noise and did not flush the toilet or use any water; water usage from beow at start then above at end;

                Into the kitchen; scraped crumbs off the plate into the rubbish; filled the plate with minimal water just to soak; got bread from freezer; back into the living room;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 01:32:02    Awake after my second dream of the night; archeology and hiding a relic from a doctor’s office that had a list of names on it; woke as they were going to the funeral and I was staying back;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 01:32:58    Crouched into the bathroom for a pit stop; got a loud war whoop from a guy; at first thought it was from the road outside but then heard more voices as I was leaving and concluded that it was from the fifth floor above; they are up there watching everything and yelling about it; always giving everything away; made not a bit of noise; back into the living room;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 01:39:14    Auto pulls up outside; sits idling; before that as I lay back down there were footsteps on the floor above the bed; absolutely confirmed my observation of noises above just before that and the voices heard while in the bathroom;

[Asleep for another 1.5 hours bringing the total to 3.5 hours so far tonight; again a dream upon waking and most likely an external disturbance woke me even at this late hour because they are out there all night]

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 04:13:54    Awake afer my third dream of the night; this one involved a lot of women; first segment ended on a roof top; then the second segment ended with a mother and daughter in the garden dressing up then not; there were some acrimonious words; finally a guy quoting or reciting a litany between nos one and two; that ended with him going off with one or both of them; the third one involved me with a group of women early at a restaurant; we were lookng for food and music; it ended with me dancing with two of them; no music but asking for it; happy smiles and the three of us with our arms around each other dancing in a circle;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 04:18:24    Vehicle idling outside afer pulling up while I was writing; then it honked once; heels going down the front footpath now to it; still idling; that was obnoxious; door opens; female says something; sounded like the “S” voice; maybe the “C voice; door closes; then it pulls away toward the other end;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 04:21:50    Two vehicle door slams outside at the end of the bldg as the idling engine sound stops; third door slam from the road there as I wrote this;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 04:22:43    Voices out front on the footpath; could these be from the auto that just came from the other end and might have stopped at the end of the bldg with them getting out following the three vehicle door slams(?);

[This is a perfect synopsis of the three dreams for tonight especially the disturbances]

Three dream night so far; one quick one it seemed then the other two spaced out over about a two hour period each with the second one apparently in conjunction with being woken by the guys above who cheered with a whoop when I went into the bathroom; and now the third one that met with a horn honk ouside and departing female and then some arriving people;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 04:36:33    There’s that noise of steady pounding but it is very faint; sounds like from above though but even that might be uncertain; coming from the rear wall area of the living room as I sit here writing;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 04:52:38    Loud noise now from that same rear living room wall area with what sounded like something trickling down the wall like plaster or something; the pounding stopped a few mins ago after going on for a while and getting a little louder;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 04:56:33    Male voice says one word; sounded like from below with a vibrating effect from that direction with the resonance of his voice;  he might have said “Fucking” but it is not true for me; it is just what they want to believe and make up;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 05:27:09    Auto goes by and stops followed by a door slam; just had a really nice dream: the girl who had been sleeping outside came in evidently setting off the two other guys was no where to be seen; these guys were preeing and very happy with themselves; I left and then saw her out sleeping on the ground again in her old clothes but with the jacket of one of the guys over her shoulders and head; very strange that; told me that she had not spent the night with them; but very strange symbol for the dream; which went on to unfold with a couple other girls; I wound up walking along with one and we saw Larry LaMee; before that we had been talking with a guy, and I thought that she was very interested in him as I thought the other one was too; finally after seeing Larry she asked me about him; I told her that he was a year older than me, actually two; she then told me that the guy who I thought she was really interested was 40; then it unfolded that she was really interested in me; the dream ended very nicely;

There was a sound from below as I was trying to get to sleep just before this; did not sit up and write about it because I wanted to sleep; got a few mins of dozing off anyway;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 07:04:11    Female goes down the front footpath chattering loudly saying something about “Help”; loud hard door slam below; followed by bar/grate clank;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 07:07:23    Vehicle starts and departs outside; sounds like a truck;

Mon, 23 Jan 2000 - 07:11:39    Into the bathroom for a soak and a dump; had to scrub the tub with cleaner due to last night’s backup residue which was around the drain to prevent possible bacterial infection; started tub filling  and took a noiseless dump; into the bathtub; thought I heard gurgling sounds from below just like those when a sample is being taken; believe this to be the tub wash and rinse water;

                Keys rattling below (to the best of my recollection) followed by bar/grate clanking; door slamming; bar/grate clanking sounded like someone entered below; there followed three more of these but only with one bar/grate clanking each time; it sounded like someone left and returned quickly because the next two were close together; then a third followed after a bit; could have been either direction; this occurred just after I stepped out of the tub;

                There was a female voice that said “He’s in there” after the first series of door noises below; it made it sound like someone returned and noted my presence in the bathroom;

                After getting out I dried; flushed the toilet following that last door slam and bar/grate noise; put in limescale remover; went into the bedroom to dress; turned out bathroom light while going back into the living room; pushed bed over; picked up the notebook and moved it to the table;

                The dog started barking away below after the final door slam and bar/grate clanking below; this tells me no one was there; thus the sequence was someone arrived; then went out and in very quickely after noting my presence in the bathroom; finally departed from below just after I got out of the tub followed by the dog barking because it was alone and continued for a bit; what probably happened is that whoever was out front waiting to see me in the living room; realised that I went into the bathroom and came back inside; that initial key unlocking of the bar/grate was done as  quietly as possible but there was no hiding it and especially the opening of the bar/grate below;

                Put laundry in two buckets with soap and bleach; got drilling noises below just like the thuds for the listening; sounded like someone was using an electric drill to unscrew something fast as I was doing the laundry; sorry I filled buckets only; no water went down the drain except the least little bit from rinsing the utensils; you will have to wait for later;

Mon, 24 Jan 2000 - 16:01:26    Back into the chair after a quick trip into the bathroom for a pit stop; all the listening and sampling noises were underway; evidently they were prepared for this unlike the bucket emptying process when nothing of the sort occurred; they must be able to see clearly exactly what I am doing; there were thuds continuously throughout my time in the bathroom from below the toilet in the wall water pipe shaft area; the wall water pipe noise was also going below; it ran for the entire time and stopped just as I was departing; I made virtually no sound at all; back into the living room;  

This sounded very much like a setup again and done in full knowledge of my activity as noted; the noise below in the wall water pipe shaft area was continuous and obvious with regard to sound and/or water sampling activity;

Tue, 25 Jan 2000 - 01:16:01    Female yells outside again; happened just as I raised my arm above the covers; must have the movment detector working and she yells each time it goes off; [please seee “yelp” noted at 0700 below] vehicle noise outside too; guy says “brilliant” comment on their ability to wake me once again; I was sleeping again and had a dream; hopeless one; kid was lost despite wealthy parents;

[To sleep again for another 1.25 hours for the third such similar time slice for tonight bringing the total sleep time to 3.75 hours so far; woken again by very loud noises from below very close to me]

[To sleep again for the fourth 1.25 hour bit again tonight bringing the total to 5 hours so far for tonight; this may be a shorter time as I did have a problem getting back to sleep this time;]

Tue, 25 Jan 2000 - 05:56:25    Into the bedroom with clothes then into the bathroom (light on) for a bath and a pit stop; there were immediate thuds from below the toilet in the wall water pipe shaft area below the toilet; this was clearly associated with detection activity for sound/water sampling; I made not noise initially until I started the tub hot water filling with the hose from the sink which made a bubbling sound following some small noises putting in the tub; had removed what might have been a food particle from the plug chain leading down from the overflow drain; got into the tub as it filled and soaked while doing so; only noise was the hot water tank refilling; about half of the water from yest am’s soak had seeped out in the past 24 hours but the remaining amount was perfect for a hot water balanced filling; turned off the hot water and soaked for awhile;

                There was the sound below of someone exiting that flat; first the bar/grate noise occurred but was very subdued as if trying to be quiet; then there was a hard, loud door slam which completely ignored any attempt to be silent; another bar/grate noise followed then silence for a bit until a noise came from the front door area; assumed this was that door closing; other then a toilet flush from above with the water running down the drain pipe and a wall water pipe noise (not too loud) from a toilet cistern refill;

                Washed hair, shaved, conditioner, washed, rinsed; started tub draining; got out; dried; brushed hair; flushed toilet; into bedroom to get dressed; hand hit on empty cardboard box and made a slight noise; back by the bathroom to turn off its light; into the living room again;

[To sleep for 4 hours straight thru; see what happens when I am not disturbed(?); there were noises and prob wake up from the sound box but was so tired that I just barely noted and went back to sleep; believe this wake up after 4 hours to be external; without it I would have slept through]

Tue, 26 Jan 2000 - 02:08:51    Finished the Watson singing dream; at least he did all he singing and I listened; so no talking and no noise; vehicle outside now; easing by; idling; poss very faint sound of a voice;

Woke up earlier but too tired to do or write anything; went back to sleep; cannot recall what happened either in dreams or activity that might have disturbed;

At another time there was the very hard slam of that sound box cabinet door right next to my head; I was sound asleep and it woke me; but only woke me just enough so I knew what happened; I was in a fog and went right back to sleep; remember thinking though that this was a terrible thing to do and just like last night a disturbance to cause what it was trying to observe; cannot think why the slam; was it for disgust at not getting anything because I went to sleep and just slept thru or was it becuse they got something from me in my sleep and slammmed it in triumph; whatever I was fast asleep; not dreaming; not making any noise; believe that they got fed up after an evening of listening from when they started that activity much earlier and slammed the sound box in order to disturb; that was just pure harassment; wish I knew what time it was though;

Over four hours sleep straight thru except for the disturbances noted; that is what happens when I am left alone; go right to sleep and sleep right thru; but I was disturbed by that slamming and then even just went right on sleeping; believe I could have been easily disturbed now;

Wed, 26 Jan 2000 - 02:17:45    Courched into the bathroom; believe there was an increase in the auto noise out front but ever so slighty as I went thru the living room door; I made not a bit of noise except scratching my leg; crouched back into the living room; heard nothing either;

Wed, 26 Jan 2000 - 02:21:01    Vehicle just went by from here to there;

There seemed to be an ever so slight sound of voices coming from the road area as I wrote the above update before the vehicle went by as noted;

Wed, 26 Jan 2000 - 03:46:45    Footsteps on the front footpath; I still cannot get back to sleep from when I woke up; followed the Watson dream;

Wed, 26 Jan 2000 - 04:35:30    Loud tthud from below;

[1 hour sleep here for total of 5 hours so far tonight; woke from a nightmare to the sound of footsteps out front; again believe that I was woken be an external source of noise which caused the nightmare;]
