"The collective form of absurd behavior is no doubt the most dangerous because the absurdity is no longer apparent and because it is sanctioned as "normal." (Alice Miller, For Your Own Good: hidden cruelty in child-rearing and the roots of violence, Farrar, Straus, Giroux, New York, 1983/4, p 139.)

I support all the efforts to get Alan Johnston released and deplore the fact of his kidnapping and imprisonment in Gaza. The events of the past two days in Gaza are of great concern.

However, I want to compare and contrast his imprisonment by terrorists in Gaza with the US/UK government sponsored and run imprisonment, torture interrogation, medical experimentation and lethal use the surveillance technology for R&D purposes.

I do not believe that there is any difference except that I have been subjected to torture 24/7 since August 1998 by a large group of local vigilante criminals and imprisoned indefinitely since February 2001 by surveillance technology from which there is no escape.

This constitutes almost nine years of 24/7 abuse by these governments, but no one does or says anything about it. Instead, I am abused in the extreme for accurately reporting what is happening by all those involved who want to deny their and other's extensive criminal behaviour including the media who commit the crime of silence.

Which is the worst: to be tortured to death by the US/UK governments or held captive in Gaza?

  • Central heat on again. After being off for a couple weeks since about 1st June, will this mean that the heat will remain on for the summer? Is tenant management trying to drive me out with excessive heating?

  • New smacking laws to be reviewed. A child should never ever be hit. Comments from Alice Miller concerning the silence of the media with regard to dealing with physical child abuse.

Welcome to the UK the home of at least two governments: one for image and the other for destruction producing a culture of collusion, conspiracy, confusion, collision and collapse. Those who report the abuse are not believed and subjected to further abuse (Blair's Feral Beasts) to discredit their reporting of the truth. The sadistic personality in authority dominates and controls supporting and sustaining child abuse and those who abuse children even to the extent of providing them with surveillance technology to hide their crimes and carry on with more. Since this has continued for almost nine years, all of these people have no choice but to continue to avoid prosecution if they can get away with it.

Since the government cannot operate within the laws that it introduced and got passed in Parliament, the Home Office has been split with Justice spun off. This leaves law enforcement and so-called intelligence on its own in the former Home Office free to carry out extralegal activity. This split in the Home Office reflects a similar split in the society at large. The kind of experience to which I've been subjected for the past nine years will now become more prevalent.

The government does not support human rights in practise support although it pays lip service to human rights when it serves a political purpose as occurred when there were no weapons of mass destruction (WMD) to justify the invasion of Iraq. The government argued that human rights did not apply to British detention facilities overseas. The Law Lords ruled differently. The government does not respect human rights when it uses surveillance technology inside the UK. So far, it has been able to hide this unlawful and criminal abuse of power to get away with it in my direct experience for almost nine years 24/7.

1. The central heat came back on today after being off for a couple weeks since about 1st June. That was nice. Will this mean that the heat will remain on for the summer which officially starts in a few days on the 21st? There was a glimmer of what central heating actually meant. Who's going to pay the excessive fuel oil costs for having the central heating on during the summer? Meanwhile, much of of the UK is under a deluge of rain that has been going on for the better part of 48 hours.

2. It is now conclusive: the thuds, thumps, poundings, hits and stomping goes on from below in the morning until they depart after which there is silence. There's extensive thumping bass noise nuisance from the flat below, noises from there while I am trying to get to sleep and noises that wake me in the morning while I am trying to sleep. And, last night there was extensive stomping on the floor above up to about 2330 and little later. This happens from time to time. All of this is done along the minute-by-minute surveillance technology abuse carried out against me 24/7.

3. Fri Jun 15 16:09:50 BST 2007: thumping bass music emerges from the flat below permeating the living room. This reflects the destructive behaviour of would-be terrorists.

Fri Jun 15 16:44:37 BST 2007: thumping and vibrating bass music from below starts again after a brief hiatus.

Fri Jun 15 18:21:39 BST 2007: thumping bass music started from below a moment ago but only lasted that moment just enough to attract attention and be abusive.

Fri Jun 15 18:58:33 BST 2007: thumping bass music starts once again from the flat below.

Fri Jun 15 19:32:46 BST 2007: thumping bass music blasts away from below. It's Firday night. Are these the drug abusers getting stoned? How long will this continue tonight?

Fri Jun 15 20:59:59 BST 2007: thumping bass music coming from the flat below. Is this the revenge of the abused child?

Fri Jun 15 22:51:18 BST 2007: thumping bass music comes from below once again.

Fri Jun 15 23:32:28 BST 2007: thumping bass music stops just now. Will it resume? Yes, it did, and it contined at an excessively loud level destroying my enjoyment of trying to listen to Radio 3 along with the quiet enjoyment of the premises. It stopped about midnight. No, actually, it was turned down and comes back at a lower volume.

4. Seven receive a total of 136 years in prison for terrorist planning (an eighth is already serving a life sentence), but some might be out in as little as five years. Somehow I doubt that will happen. The least sentence was 15 years for two of them. The longest sentence was 26 years. Fortunately, these people were caught before they could carry out their terrorist acts. Others have escaped detection. When there are limited resources, I'm still amazed that the surveillance technology is allowed to continue against me after almost nine years 24/7 when there is such a serious threat in the UK as manifested by the intentions of these terrorists. This still leaves many questions open about the antiterrorist effort.

As I continue to listen to the absurd and infantile abuse from Lt Harry Bird, BS and others using the surveillance technology, I have no confidence in the success of whatever purports to be a meaningful investigation. If they cannot get it right in this situation with this surveillance technology, the system is in a jam, and the public at grave risk. If people like these with no ability whatsoever who are full of rage and violence that drives their behaviour are allowed to continue what is called an "investigation," there is no hope that those who are a serious threat will be caught before a terrorist act except by blundering into them.

Depending upon this is like living on a hope and prayer for a miracle based upon luck. These do not work against a determined terrorist. How is it possible that people like these who are attacking an innocent person continuously based upon trumped up allegations are allowed to set an example of such abuse that the most serious threat will be an incitement for the worst terrorist to act and try to destroy? Of course, that is what these people are trying to do with the surveillance technology.

Seven men have been jailed for up to 26 years over an al-Qaeda-linked plot to kill thousands in the UK and US.

Woolwich Crown Court heard they were in a "sleeper cell" led by Dhiren Barot, who is already serving a life sentence.

Barot planned attacks including an explosives-packed limousine, a dirty radiation bomb and blowing apart a London Underground tunnel.

Six admitted conspiracy to cause explosions and a seventh was found guilty of conspiracy to murder.

5. Under no circumstances should a child ever be hit. This draws a very clear line beyond which physical child abuse can be recognised. Children should enjoy the same protection against being hit as adults. It is mind boggling that "smacking" a child is currently all right as long as the injury doesn't show. I guess some parents used the rubber hose against the bottoms of the feet alternative. Child abusers are about the most vicious and deceitful people anyone is ever to have the unfortunate experience to meet. It has to be remembered, however, that the child abuser was once an abused child.

New smacking laws to be reviewed

Boy at anti-smacking protest
Campaigners say "reasonable chastisement" should be illegal

Laws under which parents in England and Wales face jail for smacking children so hard they leave a mark are to be reviewed, the government has said.

Children's Minister Beverley Hughes said parents would be asked whether smacking should be banned outright.

Restrictions were toughened in 2004 to stop parents and carers who assaulted children from using "reasonable punishment" as a defence.

But moves to ban any hitting of youngsters outright were rejected.

. . .

Children's charity the NSPCC says the law is flawed and has called for a total ban on smacking.

Last month Britain's four child commissioners called for a total ban, insisting there was "no room for compromise" on the issue.

Campaign group 11 Million, headed by England's Children's Commissioner, Al Aynsley-Green, said it recognised that parenting was sometimes a difficult job and there was a need for help in finding positive and effective forms of discipline.

But chief executive Rob Williams said: "Fear and intimidation can never be a positive part of childhood.

"Children are rightly protected from assault in school and other settings.

"It is time for the law to protect them from violence at home where, of all places, they should expect to feel safe and secure."

"On this path I also learned how false the assumption is that children in Germany are more widely abused than in other countries. Sometimes it is very difficult for us to bear an overly painful truth, and therefore we ward it off with the aid of illusions. A frequent form of resistance is that of temporal and spatial displacement. Thus, for example, it is easier for us to imagine that children were mistreated in previous centuries or are so in distant countries than to recognize the truth about our own country, here and now. . . . Trusting that my readers will be able to hold on to the illusions they need, I should like to present some information pertaining to the childrearing ideology still tolerated and defended with silence in Switzerland (not only Germany) today." (Alice Miller, For Your Own Good: hidden cruelty in child-rearing and the roots of violence, Farrar, Straus, Giroux, New York, 1983/4, p 234.)

Alice Miller then goes on to fill four and one-half pages with specific examples of physical child abuse and general methods of physical child abuse which were derived from a telephone distress line in Switzerland that were made available to the media. Although these were sent to over two hundred newspapers, only three wrote articles about this physical abuse against children. Later she learned that three magazines for parents also published this information. She goes on to discuss this prevailing silence.

"Why did almost all the journals to whom these devastating reports were sent -- journals whose main concern is with "society" -- choose to respond with silence? Who is protecting whom and from what? Why shouldn't the Swiss public be informed that in its fair land countless children are being subjected to a lonely martyrdom? What is achieved by silence? Might it not even be helpful for the abusive parents to learn that the anguish of the battered child, who they themselves once were too, is finally being noticed and taken seriously? Like the murders committed by Jurgen Bartsch, numerous crimes against children are an unconscious message to the public about the perpetrators' own past, of which they are often scarcely conscious themselves. Someone who was not allowed to "be aware" of what was being done has no way of telling about it except to repeat it. One would think that the media, who claim to do their best to improve society, could learn to understand this language once they are no longer forbidden to be aware of it." (Ibid., p 239.)

There must be a clear line drawn in law to prevent children from being physically abused. Children cannot be smacked under any circumstances. This is one way of addressing the problem of physical child abuse clearly without ambiguity in a world where physical abuse against children takes on many forms which also must be addressed. Making one portion of physical abuse clearly delineated is a significant step to stopping all forms of physical child abuse.
