"According to secret and long-hidden documents obtained for Body of Secrets, the Joint Chiefs of Staff drew up and approved plans for what may be the most corrupt plan ever created by the U.S. government. In the name of anticommunism, they proposed launching a secret and bloody war of terrorism against their own country in order to trick the American public into supporting an ill-conceived war they intended to launch against Cuba.
"Codenamed operation Northwoods, the plan, which had the written approval of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere. People wold be framed for bombings they did not commit, planes would be hijacked. Using phony evidence, all of it would be blamed on Castro, thus giving Lemnitzer and his cabal the excuse, as well as the public and international backing, they needed to launch their war." The above occurred near the end of the presidency of Dwight D Eisenhower in 1960, and according to James Bamford he might have been the originator of the idea. Wherever this whacko plan originated, it reflected the mentality of some people in power and also other such criminal activites carried out by departments of the US government such as COINTELPRO (Counter Intelligence Programme) against the US civilian population. As a starting point for understanding this extraordinary programme carried out by the US government read COINTELPRO: The Untold American Story by Paul Wolf and some of his sources.
If I hadn't witnessed this kind of activity 24/7 for many years from my own direct personal experience of being subjected to this kind of abuse by extreme right wing fruit cakes, I would tend to be sceptical of these accounts, but I know that not only is such mentality all to prevalent today but is allowed to act out their perversions in the real world in a most destructive manner by fabricating allegations to create a foundation of fear. I call these activities against me using surveillance technology as a weapon a smear and fear campaign intended to incite others based upon emotion alone to carry out criminal acts on behalf of these right wing fruit cakes who seek to achieve their own corrupt self interest objectives: greed, glory and power. It's common bullying technique with the toads inspired to do the bully's bidding. So far no one has been as dumb as these people to actually incur the legal liability of such criminal activity where the bully would not have to incur the legal accountability and responsibilty.
Here are a few techniques outlined by Paul Wolf with respect to COINTELPRO operations. These techniques constitute some of what has been used against me. Think in terms of what is being done which can be adaptible to differenct situations:
"Many more, however, were "neutralized" by intimidation, harassment, discrediting, snitch jacketing, a whole assortment of authoritarian and illegal tactics.
"Neutralization, as explained on record by the FBI, doesn't necessarily pertain to the apprehension of parties in the commission of a crime, the preparation of evidence against them, and securing of a judicial conviction, but rather to simply making them incapable of engaging in political activity by whatever means.
"For those not assessed as being in themselves, necessarily a security risk, but engaged in what the Bureau views to be politically objectionable activity, those techniques might consist of disseminating derogatory information to the target's family, friends and associates, visiting and questioning them, basically, making it clear that the FBI are paying attention to them, to try to intimidate them.
"If the subject continues their activities, and particularly if they respond by escalating them, the FBI will escalate its tactics as well. Maybe they'll be arrested and prosecuted for spurious reasons. Maybe there will be more vicious rumors circulated about them. False information may be planted in the press. The targets' efforts to speak in public are frustrated, employers may be contacted to try to get them fired. Anonymous letters have been sent by the FBI to targets' spouses, accusing them of infidelity. Others have contained death threats.
"And if the subject persists then there will be a further escalation.
"According to FBI memoranda of the 1960s, "Key black activists" were repeatedly arrested "on any excuse" until "they could no longer make bail." The FBI made use of informants, often quite violent and emotionally disturbed individuals, to present false testimony to the courts, to frame COINTELPRO targets for crimes they knew they did not commit. In some cases the charges were quite serious, including murder.
"Another option is "snitch jacketing" - making the target look like a police informant or a CIA agent. This serves the dual purposes of isolating and alienating important leaders, and increasing the general level of fear and factionalism in the group."
COINTELPRO is alive and well today being used against me by adapting these and other techniques to the use of updated and current surveillance technology. The above are general technique characteristics. I've arrived at these and similar general statements from a massive amount of well document specific activities from years of 24/7 direct experience of this kind of deliberate destructive behaviour.
