NHS job cuts 'set to quadruple'

More than 6,000 job have been cut in hospitals in recent weeks Hospital job cuts could reach 24,000 - four times the number of job losses announced in recent weeks - the Liberal Democrats have claimed. The Lib Dems said the 6,000 job cuts announced in recent weeks accounted for only a quarter of the total NHS deficit.

Why are there mounting NHS debts?

By Nick Triggle BBC News health reporter One in four trusts finished last year in deficit One in four NHS trusts failed to balance their books last year, leaving the health service with a £250m deficit. The situation is predicted to get worse this year and has prompted health bosses to freeze recruitment, close wards and delay operations. But the NHS is receiving record amounts of money - the budget has doubled since Labour came to power. So why is this happening?

And, dentistry on the NHS is fast disappearing.All the money and attention directed to the NHS for the past nine years has still not solved the problems. Why?From my perspective and direct experience this is due to the lack of responsibility in Government whose people are abusing the NHS including its own medical professionals.Rather than deal with the problems I have raised for the past eight years, there has been an effort to discredit my reporting by suggesting that there is a mental health problem. This is the first step in abusing the NHS by those in Government.I have been subjected to surveillance driven imprisonment, torture and research including medical experimentation involving extensive activity by NHS personnel in the community carrying out unlawful and criminal acts. This has been going on for the better part of eight years 24/7.As a result, I have sustained personal injuries which have necessitated NHS medical care including cataract surgery on both eyes. I have resisted the false claims of mental illness to avoid wasting NHS resources, but I have addressed the risk from cancer recurrence by annual dermatology examinations to prevent a costly catastrophe.In my direct experience the NHS management as well as Government management are out of control. The money has flowed into the NhS and has led to the abuses I've described.There are many, many people who desperately need medical attention especially those with mental health problems who are not getting it, and there are cut backs in mental health care still occurring.It is beyond me why such a concerted, massive and extremely costly effort would be allowed to go on fabricating allegations and dragging down the whole social system especially the NHS into a quagmire of problems which don't exist in order to avoid dealing with the real problems which I report.The media share responsibility for the development of this situation by failing to report these incredible abuses which have been gong on for most of the nine years that this Government has been in power.I am not surprised to see these problems emerging from the NHS. If it wasn't for the destructive activity deliberately carried out against me, I would not be using the NHS at all.
